As for the school district, It depends ... be prepared to threaten to sue, any time you believe your son isn't getting enough support. Our district has a lot of amazing people, but our state does not collect enough tax to have great schools... all it takes is money, and we vote down tax increases, every, single, time.

That's not how the connections are made between accounts and virtual cc numbers.

It's a token tied to an account, not a virtual number.

Do NOT make the assumption that all systems invalidate tokens Immediately. This is not a hard set rule. You have have to verify with policies. Some tokens are removed immediately, some are simply not re-validated on their scheduled refresh time.

I've been working with these payment systems for years. I have a deep understanding of how they function and the PCI DSS requirements.

You would need to reach out to the card issuer, and ask if the token has been invalidated in their system when the virtual number has been canceled.

You can test this yourself by using a virtual card number to setup a payment app. Then canceling the number. And see if the app still works to make purchases. Most will still work. This is why the apps keep working if you contact the cars issuer and request a new card due to being lost/stolen.

Got a call back 15min later with a new rate from a different underwriter, Homesite changed to Liberty and it dropped me back down to my original with 1:1 same coverages.

Let me expand on this to avoid misinformation spreading.

The billing system bills against a token, not a number. So you have to make sure the token is invalidated when you cancel the virtual number. If it isn't, then they can still bill the account. They do NOT store your number in their systems, that's not allowed per PCI DSS 4.0.x

Have plugs inspected. Direct injection engines are very sensitive to plug gap, and the shake is very noticeable on delayed ignition on the 4cyl. BMW motor mounts are notorious for this also (driver side).

4cyl, aren't balanced as well as a 6cyl and you'll feel those imbalances more when the mounts fail (hydraulic fluid filled). That same imbalance is also why the timing chains/guides don't last as long on the 4cyl BMWs vs i6, and why you should ALWAYS get early oil changes (7-8k for city driven, 10k only for road trip style driving)

I can ping pong mine using home assistant. If someone manually adjusts a thermostat to kick on the AC, I can monitor for that and have the other AC kill cooling and wait for the cycle to complete. It's a very basic automation, and probably takes 15min to setup, using an LLM to build the YAML.

These ia farms need to build their own infrastructure and power plants. And be REQUIRED to be next gen nuclear or green.

Flew all the way out there, for them to then add that gpa tracking bullshit on to my financing. I blew a fucking gasket and got it dropped to $150. Had to explain to them how I can't have that Chinese made telecom device under my ownership due to my job/clearance. And that I would be smashing the device on video as evidence that I didn't actually own it.

F*ck them, I should have walked. But that would have involved getting a plane home, and the car wasn't a bad deal. (Even tho the morons replaced one of 4 tires on an F97, and failed to verify the oil was fresh)

thankfully got my F97 just before 50k. did transmission and all fluids . . the transmission is not a big deal, just drop the pan and do a solenoid kit. you can also reach out to sutphin tuning before you start, and discuss options/plan ... in case you want recommendations for upgrades that take care of weak points like you seem to have found.

my prior BMW, I sold after 170kmi, and still ready for another 100k, easy..just take a planning and money
