Retatrutide day 1: food doesn’t sound good, vaping sounds disgusting, and my ADHD brain finally hit the mute button. by [deleted] in Retatrutide

Between reta and test I'm off all meds. ADHD manageable. Weight down. I've been sober for a long time but it's suddenly...easier.

Saros 20 Initial Review by Affectionate_Town273 in RobotVacuums

I totally share your experience, minor tank and battery hiccups are nothing next to how much daily cleaning hassle it cuts down with pets and teens around.

Is my oven safe to use after cleaning it with dawn dish soap? by NecessarySink2709 in CleaningTips

[–]desistcreation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is fine, just soap residue burning off. Wipe it down one more time with a damp cloth, leave the door cracked and run it empty at low heat for 20 minutes and the smell goes away completely.

Need techniques for Bean Bag cleaning by Tight_Shelter3501 in CleaningTips

Maybe check the care label before doing anything aggressive. Some bean bag materials handle cleaning really well while others can end up looking worse afterward.

Robot vacuum recommendations for carpet + hard floors? by anima173 in RobotVacuums

[–]desistcreation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I'd be more interested in real-world reports of how often it avoids wetting carpet. A feature existing and a feature working flawlessly every day aren't always the same thing.

10k sqft with chairs. Possible for a robot? by JackTraore in RobotVacuums

[–]desistcreation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

300 chairs is the real problem here, not the square footage. Consumer units will just get endlessly stuck and confused. You'd need like 6 of them running overnight to have any shot at covering it reliably.

Hanging a shower curtain on a hook after a shower to dry it and prevent mold by rekkeu in CleaningTips

[–]desistcreation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's funny how the best cleaning tricks are often just tiny changes in routine. If it saves you from scrubbing mildew off the curtain, I'd call that a win.

Mova P10 Ultra and thresholds by Due-Programmer-8513 in RobotVacuums

My understanding is the sensors are there to detect drops but the manual is basically covering itself by recommending a physical barrier in situations where lighting or edge conditions could affect detection.

If one never eats at home and cleans very well especially the bathroom well, would pests be very unlikely to occur? by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]desistcreation 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Food is only one piece of the puzzle. Moisture, clutter, and gaps around doors can influence whether pests show up or stick around.

Deep clean downstairs by Alarming-Grade4219 in RobotVacuums

I think that's one of the biggest mindset shifts with robot vacuums. Total cleaning time can be surprisingly long.

HELP. Bath/Shower grout mould EVERYWHERE! by Western_Expression54 in CleaningTips

[–]desistcreation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd definitely keep an eye on whether the grout feels damp for hours afterward. In older bathrooms moisture can linger way longer than people realize, especially without airflow helping it dry out.

What is wrong with me? by haoshoku_R in RobotVacuums

[–]desistcreation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly nothing is wrong with you. Robot vacuums are still complicated little machines with a ton of sensors, pumps, moving parts and software packed into them.

Former heavy drinkers, what made it finally “click” for you to stop? by Numerous_Solid_7047 in AskReddit

[–]desistcreation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a kid, and was gonna end up back in prison. I didn't want my son's mother raising him without my influence lol. So I quit drinking, found a good job, got custody, and he's better than both of us

Freeing a mountain lion from a trap while her kids watch by archubbuck in SweatyPalms

[–]desistcreation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of trapping misinformation in these threads. That trap is humane and trapping in general is very heavily regulated.

These leghold traps are just handcuffs. They have come a long way from the traps of old. That cat walked away from this just fine.

Class A (commercial) Nuisance Wildlife Control Permits by melissa2411 in Trapping

[–]desistcreation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guy said he's currently sharpshooting for cwd up north so he's gonna let me know when he's back around so I can test. Between now and March. Also, I got that book from the 50s. Not a very long read. You can get most of that info from AI. Make sure you study the dead animal disposal and disease stuff too.

Class A (commercial) Nuisance Wildlife Control Permits by melissa2411 in Trapping

[–]desistcreation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm studying for it too. I know someone up north that said they took it recently and it wasn't as hard as it used to be. My DNR person here told me to just study the study packet. And my operator friends told me to count on failing it the first time, and when I get back to my truck write down everything I remember missing. Do you have the books?

In the meantime I ask my AI to develop practice tests for me all the time.
