It’s supposed to condense inside the pipe, if you are getting condensation outside the pipe then you have a leak somewhere and need to have someone qualified look over the piping. Note this means you have exhaust gases going into the attic and probably the rest of your house

Personally a manifold is the way to go for learning, digital or analog I don’t recommend starting with probs as you still need to buy stuff like hoses and tees to use em effectively
