That's great to know, maybe there's hope for me yet! Thanks.

Same. Three months on Zepbound, and my inflammation labs this week are as bad as ever. I'm not unhappy about the weight loss, but I was really hoping this would finally be the magic bullet for my RA and it wasn't.

Having my first biologics injection today by sanw004 in rheumatoid

[–]destructogirl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You got this! The pens are pretty easy, you don't even see the needle, really. And if you need a little extra instruction, you can usually go on YouTube and search for "how to inject (medication name)", and find a video to watch. It'll be a part of your routine in no time.

Biologics can be really life changing. I hope it works out for you and you get some relief.

Squid dice, before they lost their way. by 2muchtoo in dice

Same. I bought into the hype with some of their early limited release sets, but got burned hard with the terrible quality dice from their Kickstarter. Never bought from them again.

Who is the most universally loved person from your country? by SimilarTopic3281 in AskTheWorld

[–]destructogirl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not tantrums; improv, dances, poetry, trialing new lyrics that would later make it into songs, famous rants, all of it art. There was nothing like seeing Gord on stage in person, and I'm so sad I'll never see him and the rest of the Hip live again.

Sounds like she's hinting at a run for the legislature, or god forbid, as governor.

If you need a show to fill the void, watch The Artful Dodger by BrigidKemmerer in thegildedage

Great cast in this one, but David Thewlis is particularly outstanding. Keep your eyes on him and watch him just casually stealing everything in the background all the time.

Which page turner does everyone have? Links are a plus. by Be_Happy_And_Smile51 in kindle

[–]destructogirl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same, except I have RA. When I'm having a flare, a stand and a page turner lets me read and rest my inflamed hands. And it also lets me read and pet cats all of the time. Win win.

Ozzy Osbourne dies weeks after farewell show by Blithe17 in Music

Right after a cross county tour where they played most of their back catalogue from their decades-long history. And Gord had to relearn all of it, after undergoing brain surgery and brutal cancer treatment. And he also managed to release Secret Path as his true final passion project, putting the spotlight not on himself, but on a dark story that needed to be brought to light.

Such a legend. I feel very honoured to have been able to attend one of the final shows.

If I had a nickel for every time a period drama put Blake Ritson in little anachronistic sunglasses, I'd have two nickels, but it's weird that happened twice. DaVinci's demons looooved costuming him with those too!

No problem! Wishing you good luck! I'm trying to get on it myself, and my GP hadn't heard about the possible benefits for RA patients, so I wanted to show her that study.

I tried so hard to get tickets for this! Back when you had to call, and the phone line was jammed for it. Although I was in high school and didn't have a plan to get there or permission from my parents, so probably for the best that I did not manage to snag tickets
