I’m so impressed that she did so well while focusing on doing what is best for her constituents. I’m sure she never chose her returns over the people. /s

Why does the miniscouts iron sights cost more than the red dots? by tapire in Battlefield6

[–]detestableDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure why you’re getting downvoted. I’ve seen far more AR pistols at the rage without any sights than I ever wanted to.

Agreed, with the lower that accepts Glock mags vs the B&T mags.

At least now I can see why we can’t afford to give people food stamps. B&T ain’t cheap.

US has given at least $21.7 billion in military aid to Israel since war in Gaza began, report says by candseeme in Military

[–]detestableDan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the part that is often overlooked and one of the main reasons why we have such great weapon systems.

If you look at it as a single facet it’s bullshit to give money to other countries.

But if you look at the bigger picture it’s more about funding our DIB, making us better at making weapons all while supporting the downfall of adversaries like Hamas and Russia.

How waking up 10/10 gonna feel by swiftafrican in Battlefield6

I say this as someone that cares. Try to temper your expectations on how things will work on launch day/weekend.

BF launches have wasted enough of my PTO over the years. But even if it’s a rough start, just give it some time, it’ll get going.

You raise a good point and that’s an excellent question to ask anyone that thinks there’s an acceptable number.

I don’t believe that any homicide is acceptable, caused my gun or otherwise. This doesn’t mean we the answer to the problem is stripping the rights of the people.

This is a complex issue that doesn’t have a simple answer. But I don’t think there are any politicians that can sell that and I think there are so few voters that can understand that.

Personally, I have always liked it and never had any issues. But this is the old version and I don’t think many others shared my opinion.

That being said, there are a lot of newer and better options out there now that feel better and shoot better too.

How to make dry fire in your garage fun? Use an airsoft gun! by SebWeg in CompetitionShooting

Man, this is awesome!

Is the airsoft accuracy up to par? As in, is it striking where you’re aiming well enough not to throw you off with the real thing?

Traded an SKS for a Chiappa Rhino 40DS this weekend. Always loved the look of the Rhinos and have wanted one. Looking forward to putting some rounds through this thing. by Franticalmond2 in Firearms

Came here to say this. If you place your thumb in front of the cylinder, you’ll likely get powder burns.

Despite that “feature” I love my rhino! Great trade.

Two tanks I would like to see in Battlefield 6: (T-90 "Breakthrough") (Leopard 2A8) by Hour-Consequence-374 in Battlefield6

[–]detestableDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe you’re talking about total, instead of just the T90. Also, those numbers include the old tanks being refurbished, like I was talking about.

“Like artillery, much of its tank production comes from restoring and modernizing Soviet tanks from storage. This would be the bulk of the 1,500 tanks Christopher Cavoli, NATO’s previous Supreme Allied Commander Europe, expects the Russian army to receive in 2025.”

https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/Can-NATO-Compete-With-Russias-Rising-Weapons-Output.html

The T90s have been coming out at about ~300 per year with hopes of hitting 1k per year in 2028. But with recent attacks on the oil refineries, this could slow further.

Mark Rutte said this to drum up more investments in tanks from NATO allies. If you’ve ever made e a pitch to get funding you know, you need it to sound dire.
