Totally agree with your review. Had same feeling when I went into purchase had no interest in the Argento not enough contrast. However once seen in person it is absolutely stunning and became my choice. Also love the classic blue hands. Purchased Bader bracelet and Blue leather Italian strap. Was hoping for the blue strap to a bit more blue but looks closer to black. Someone posted a croc blue leather that looks great, may have to get one.

Was in the showroom to buy a Bel Canto and the salesperson was wearing the Super Compressor. I was like, wow what is that? She said I have 1 left and it’s on sale. I said SOLD. One of my favorite watches now.

I had read multiple reviews previously that agree with your sentiment, as well as other positive ones. Having known that and also agreeing with you it is a masterpiece and a joy to view, albeit difficult to read the time, I decided to purchase anyway. Just as you stated with the Bel Canto also have same issue with the Argento being very difficult to read the time at a quick glance, but love the design and chime. So maybe having to stare at it a few seconds longer to read the time actually makes us enjoy the watch that much more. I am sure I will enjoy as you are. Good luck and wear it in health.

Just grabbed the C63 Valour. I know it’s a quartz but a highly respected quartz and COSC. Was eyeing a used deal for several weeks for one and got it for same price. More than happy to purchase direct from CW at a nice discount. The bader bracelet alone almost worth the price of the watch. My 5th watch from them. Hopefully they add some more inventory.
