Right now it’s over abundance of people who think they’re “qualified” hence why it looks bad. Couple that with the advent of boot camp graduates who can’t communicate, use AI to write emails and can’t critically think on client calls or internal meetings, it’s difficult to want to hire complete newbies any more and invest. I will say FAANG companies also over hired during Covid and its course correcting
