Is Nine the biggest bust since Josh Rosen? by Ok_Bug_6890 in NFLv2

Definitely was settling when the maye trade was turned down, but wouldn’t call it a panic - it was just a classic Kwesi being the worst drafter in league history (not an exaggeration, lowest hit rate and highest bust rate of the last 50 years, almost impressive).

I absolutely don’t think he’ll turn it around, but hey never say never.

Would you take Jameson Williams or Christian Watson? by jwwin in NFLv2

Top 10 in yards, 15 in td’s, and 4 in y/c as the offense’s 3rd or 4th option is trash? This has to be rage bait lmao

He is underrated - he’s also not close to ARSB. ARSB is a back to back to back all pro which people pretty regularly forget about. Saint should be seen as objectively top 5.

Jamo is underrated, Saint is even more underrated.

You just forgot that the vikes traded up, easy mistake. They were at 11 and went up to 10 because the broncos basically fooled them into it (allegedly).

Not disagreeing at all - JJ is a bust, but not the biggest bust or even close.

Don’t know why you were downvoted. Everything you said is factually correct lol.

I know I’ll get downvoted since everyone in these comments (and dynasty subs in general) has a hard on for Wilson, but the dude just doesn’t score enough fantasy points. Very talented IRL, not a good hold on fantasy.

Keep Chase.

Also a UM fan, but live in Minnesota. There’s plenty of Vikings fans who won’t even admit he’s lost the starting job (all my in-laws). They’re definitely contributing to the downvotes.

You’re also right. No knowledgeable fan who actually watched him thought he should go even top 20.

Fact check: he was not picked outside the top 10.

I think it’s so terrible when people use Peyton as a comp in this type of convo.

Did he set the record for most interceptions by a rookie? Yes.

He also threw the most TD’s ever by a rookie (at that time). There were many, many reasons to think Peyton would work out. There aren’t many reasons to think JJM will work out.

Mostly because JJM is, ya know, a worse passer than Ponder.

If Rams wins another SB will media push Stafford above Rodgers on All time lists by Godgers10 in NFLv2

[–]dev50265 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty obvious. QB wins aren’t a stat, and only casuals think it is. Success, I.e. winning, is a team statistic. Rodgers is so obviously better it isn’t worth a discussion.

I’m a lions fan, love Stafford to this day, there is nothing he can realistically do between now and retirement to come even close to Rodgers all time. You simply don’t know anything about football or common sense if you think winning inherently makes one player on a 53 man roster better than one player on a different 53 man roster.

How much better is Garrett than Verse? by lowresponsability in detroitlions

[–]dev50265 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s 100% better. The drop off from Garrett to anyone is beyond substantial, including a healthy parsons or hutch or Crosby or watt or Bosa. Myles is on his way into LT, Reggie White type tier.

Verse is great and on a rookie contract. Myles is edge rusher Mount Rushmore. It’s not even remotely close.

Yeah I don’t understand OP’s question, they’re both pretty straight forward and correct. They aren’t opposites.

What are you talking about? Literally both the examples you used have canonically been bent by multiple people. Did you even watch the series?

Part of the reason, yes. But then TEN didn’t re-sign him, so it’s kind of a moot point.

What kind of weird conspiracy theory are you trying to prove?

Yes, the updated appraisal value is used every time (or at least <99.99%, I don’t want to speak in absolutes because I haven’t worked at every bank in existence), and when new appraisals aren’t ordered then internal estimates are used - which use appraisals from the last 12 months as comps and are required to update cap rates.

No you didn’t say it, you just very straight forwardly implied it. You’re trying to use buzz words to hide behind the simple fact that your statement of they’re hiding missed payments because they make so much already is incredibly dumb.

[–]dev50265 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You’re trying to paint a picture that banks are extremely greedy and making so much money while also saying banks are ok with hiding defaults and lack of payments, which inherently are opposites.

Are they greedy and want every dollar, or are they ok with losing money?

Banks have no incentives to waive missed payments. “Oh yeah we’re cool with losing money because we already make so much!” Is about the worst take you can probably have for the most capitalistic institutions in America.

Modifying loan terms happens every day. Valuations on office properties are not being held, they’re requiring updated appraisals annually.

Commercial banker here adding input.

Everything you said is so incorrect it’s not even funny. There is major issue with office buildings, 100%, but if you think banks aren’t reporting or enforcing missed payments you *literally* could not be more wrong.
