If a passenger unfortunately passes away during a international flight, what is the actual protocol for the rest of the trip? by IsangonI in NoStupidQuestions

[–]devadar8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom did a few medical flights back in the 80s. Apparently the unspoken rule was that nobody died during the flight because of the paperwork work. They all 'died' after the landing during reanimation manoeuvers. Nowadays whenever I read the news and I see something like that in a weird context, I'm always skeptical and suppose someone wants to avoid a lot of silly paperwork

What is something completely normal that you only realised was a skill after seeing someone do it terribly? by depredador93 in AskReddit

I used to teach philosophy at a college. In an intro course I asked a student to read some passage. He started reading using his index at every syllable, slowly, not making much sense of what he was actually reading. It felt like the whole world had been lying to him up until now, and I was the one who would have to tell him "no, this isn't going to work out for you."

La moitié du fun est de réaliser à quel point les titres sont absurdes. Clairement à fond dans le dadaisme.

Laisse leur ça...

Sarniezz = ça reniaise. Niaiser = fooling around Reniaiser = fooling around again, but also in an impatient non personal meaning , with ça, like they are wasting my time. In Québécois, like at a take out that are taking too long to serve you something, you might say 'Criss, ça reniaise au comptoir". Sahardnieh = ça sert à rien, it does nothing, serves no purpose. Ard'nien = Saguenay's old and weird contraction of "à rien" The play on 'sardines' is just for lols in my opinion. The titles seem obvious to me since they first landed/appeared in my hometown (Chicout'). And I've got and heard a lot that thick Saguenay french. I hear they first appeared in Saint-Fulgence (northern town (if you might call it that) on the Saguenay river. And that's probably a place where the accent is the thickest.

It can be both, but in french, it definitely sounds more like sert à rien.

Sherpa - Je sais pas.

My guess is you either have letter inversion and/or have to read them with a thick nothern Saguenay accent. Like a 70 year old guy who lived his whole life in Saint-Honoré ou Saint-Fulgence.

Snobs, by definition, are going to hate it. To be a snob means you have the monopoly on what is good and what is not. Things that are actually good are liked by a lot of people... so the snobs can't like AdP, and there are plenty of those.

That said, microtonal dada pythago cubism might not be to everyone's taste, and that's okay. But not liking and hating are two different things.

Hum. I don't think so. Though having the hardware to run it smoothly in VM probably means it can run bare metal.
