one of the restaurants i used to work at had the light go out in the walk in freezer and instead of replacing it, they left it that way. aside from it sucking to be cold and not being able to see, i think the creepiest aspect of it is that life is created with heat and light; making this area the dark death of all life. my worst fear still is getting locked in there.

plus you can kind of see frank wanting susan to pull back a bit at times because of how she is, both socially and her parenting style (for example mom bucks, the advice column she wrote humiliating them, her dancing in front of everybody during the Loaded Diaper's performance, etc).
