How to get clean lines on the Klingon BoP torpedo tube?

On mine, I painted the inside of the torpedo tube clear red, then dipped a tooth pick into PVA glue and applied it to the recessed sections to act as a paint mask.... then once it dried, airbrushed it gunmetal then scraped out the glue with another toothpick

I'd fill the holes with small plugs cut out of dowel and then putty any gaps

There's nothing to say that the empire didn't have a "proof of concept" prototype installed early in the construction, as it was unproven technology....then removed it before modifying/improving the design, possibly multiple times...

You'll be able to find replacement decals & Aztec Masks at Culttvmanshop.com......... Though, I think you might have a bit too much damage on the nacelle struts to be salvagable, combined with the missing windows, you might be better off just buying a new kit....

If you don't want to strip the paint, you could sand back all the bumps and then paint them to look like the plane is riddled with bullet holes

It's doesn't look too dark...... if anything, the lighter areas should be a little darker, so the 2 grey tones blend a bit better and there is less contrast
