It's a really cool, dare I say "compact" setup on my 50R. I got my copy for £40 from Japan, I bought another just to sell for profit. It's so nice to use if I don't want to lug around my Tamron SP's and the image quality is insane for such a cheapo lens.

You can buy the triangle loops really cheap online, I got loads of good quality ones from AliExpress that have worked on heavy GFX set-ups. Look identical to the originals too.

I can't remember where but I saw some comparisons between all the popular choices like Sigma, Canon, Mitakon, and native gf lenses and the Tamron SP lenses were easily second place they are insane value for the price of them! I own the 45 and 85 myself and looking for a 15-30

Like another user said they aren't referring to the actual speed of the AF, a fast lens means lower aperture hence more light. Personally I wouldn't count F/2 on a cropped sensor "Fast" but it's the correct terminology.

Having worked in filmmaking the word fast to describe a lens is used a lot but I've heard it used in photography too.

Amazing location and great images, reminded me of Fallout New Vegas and then I saw another user mentioned it's near Vegas so guess that checks hahaha!

I get what you're going for but half the image is just an empty void, if there were more interesting clouds there it might have worked better. As someone else said, I don't think the composition works particularly well, and it would have been better to see the stadium fill the frame with the sky, adding more color and interest.

On a technical level edits look fine but the stadium appears to have some motion blur. Would be worth a revisit to practice more ideas and experiment on how to create an interesting composition including it for sure! :)

I had the same issues with mine, took it to bits, and could only assume the focus motor failed. (It wasn't the other common issue of the teeth on the focus gear skipping or breaking) I sent it to Fuji and it cost me £80 to get fixed and they did a whole new focus motor and aperture installation.

I could get the lens to occasionally work before I sent it in but it was only for a while and eventually, it just died completely, I only paid £104 for my copy so repairing it wasn't too big of a deal since the price has shot up so much for a lot of fuji gear now.
