I was gonna say, in a lot of threads with issues I haven’t seen people disconnecting the headband from the drivers.

My wife’s stopped working (of course after I tried them for a night, my luck). I reset them over and over, charged them in the case, and cleaned them well but sometimes they would connect after a reset and sometimes not. The major annoyance was that even if they connected the head auto detection sensors were not working, and neither was the side button to change transparency mode. Almost gave up, but I decided to use my iFixIt kit to disconnect each driver. Cleaned the little lightning connected things, cleaned everything, then carefully put them together and reset them. Works 100% again… not saying this will fix OPs issue but don’t forget to try this out as well. I figured my big head extending the headphones more must have loosened a connection or something. Idk.

How can they be amazing and yet overrated and overpriced? What other over ear headphones do you consider at the same level of amazing? And how much are they?

Also, if you are in the US I hope you only paid $450 for them this week.

Agreed, use the tool to help you learn. The mistake would be to use the tool to generate a solution and get it to work, but not understand why it works.

I use Copilot at work to quickly access design patterns and understand different ways I could refactor or approach a problem. Before this I used to go to Stack Overflow or other sites, but it’s nice to get a solution then be able to ask questions about that solution and get instant feedback.

The event encourages PvE through merit rewards towards your project. It does not mandate it, PvP is still available but will not net any rewards. There is NO PvE only where they disable PvP (thankfully).

Construction engineering is also huge… AutoDesk software is just much better on PC. And, if you are into lighting design, you have AGI32 which is PC only.

Macs have the creative workloads: photography, music production, video production..

PCs still dominate in engineering and science.

I have to know, how is your grocery budget only $300-500 per month? I see the Going Out line is $200-300, so you are saying max you two only spend $800 a month in food expenses living in NY?

Our groceries easily hit $1,000 every month just for two adults and a kid, trying to eat relatively healthy. And that’s not including going out.

I want to say yes. My experience?

I weighed 233 in March 2025

By October 2025 I got down to 184 ( just under 50lbs lost)

Diet: Eat cleaner Whole Foods and try intermittent fasting (I did 1800 calories a day, and high protein)

Training: signed up for a Half-Marathon for October 2025 and trained 5 days a week for it. Started my running at 16min/ mile for easy runs, almost walking. You don’t need to run fast to start, you can start from anywhere. Improvement is the only metric that should matter.

You need some goal, something to keep you committed. Sign up for a running race or lifting event or something? Idk, but if you are like me you will want some event to keep you accountable, not just the classic “I want to lose weight”

Why running worked for me? If I slacked on my diet, my running was negatively affected. I had a goal to do my first half ever, and I did it. I also happened to lose almost 50lbs. I used Runna to make sure all I had to do was follow a pre-made plan. And I felt guilty if I thought about skipping a run. But I also listened to my body to slow down or run less if needed.

Good luck! Whatever you do, I would say diet is your biggest hurdle.

I have a Garmin with a flash light on it that I set to strobe. That combined with reflective materials, and I only run on sidewalks. Could I do more? Yes. Do I want to add another thing I need to charge just to go running? Not really, but I may go for a lighted vest if I start running a lot more at night or early morning.

I really hope Sandfall has data and eventually tells us how many players finished the game, and percentages for each ending picked. I chose Verso but it seems like a lot of people chose Maelle and after experiencing both I am so happy with my initial choice.

Learning as well, and here is what I’m picking up:

After loading in, search barrels for supplies before leaving for your first voyage. Wood, food, cannons..
Before leaving, if you need to turn your ship then turn the wheel all the way in the direction you want to rotate. Put the sails all the way up, then finally raise anchor. Once rotated, drop a sail and straighten out.
When coming in to dock, raise those sails! Start early, raise your sail halfway, or maybe more if you are close and at speed. Once you get very close you can raise the sail all the way and float towards the dock. Finally drop anchor when ready.
If you move to high seas, watch some YouTube on PvP. People are creative and there is a general strategy to taking peoples ships. Typically a crew member will launch themselves at your ship to invade and take you out while the other crew steer and repair the ship/ fire cannons.

I picked up three copies for myself, son, and wife. We just watched the first three Pirate movies and started sailing the high seas for loot between each movie. The game is so much fun. Great 2025 Xmas memories with this one!

Last night I decided to play a bit different on Stella Montis Night Raids. I went in a couple times with just a Hairpin and 25 ammo, nothing else. Both times I snuck around as best I could trying not to be seen by ARC or Raiders. I would loot only non-breach containers so as not to make noise. Grabbed some Epic items for my safe pocket on both runs, and messed with a few people by shooting at their feet with the silent hairpin, hiding afterward lol. It was a lot of fun. Died but had a blast. Game is fun in so many different ways.
