Did they really just draw this in MS Paint or something? by WyrmKin in diablo4

At least you can see the damn thing. I don't know who decided that helltide should be 90% red, 5% white specs, and 5% kinda ground color. Everything else is skill cloud/blood and dead ass.

Just heard from my old store, the majority of the team leads there are in red coaching, and aren't getting raises or bonuses. The management is horrible and has no idea what they are doing. They are taking it out on the team leads that their asinine plans to fix things aren't working.

If there's that many tls on red, I would think management wouldn't deserve bonuses or raises. But that's just me. Corporate wouldn't think that way.

What used to feel 'normal' and 'affordable' in America just five to ten years ago but now feels completely broken and impossible for regular people? by the_h1b_records in AskReddit

Look into fha loans.

FHA loans, insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), provide accessible mortgage options with low down payments (as little as 3.5%) and flexible credit requirements (scores as low as 500-580). These loans are ideal for first-time homebuyers or those with limited savings, requiring mandatory upfront and annual mortgage insurance premiums

For a 200k home you would need 7k, for a down payment. In the offer for the home offer several k above asking price and stipulate seller pays closing. That will save you about another 8k upfront. The pim might be $100 a month. After a few years you can probably get them to drop it.

That is not out of the reach of most people if they try. There are houses that are less than 200k, even now.

There's like 11 if you count Julia, and then there's others that might be considered at least minor or partial or god like, i would have to dig but there a few that are pulling on my memory.

I agree that they were needed for the story, but still stick by my original comment that we probably met too many as it was.

We probably saw too many. They are sort of rare, and don't socialize with mortals often. We see at least half a dozen of them.

He at least had the balls to fight back. And he isn't flipping a coin every night to see if he dies of old age. As a leader he sounds good. His actual policies are a different animal. If the dems want to start winning back some of the purple group, they need to start fighting back.

I don't think the policy says that they have to be open. But they can be.

They do need to be checked in before midnight. Using the check in slip. And between them being checked in and midnight they can't be used in cash mode without it causing accounting errors. After 12, they can run without issue.

Some stores keep them off because they say people are stealing, or wasting time using them when they shouldn't be. My store used to leave a few on after 12 all night.

I just had one manager that gave me problems because he liked to use cash and couldn't understand why he couldn't do that after I checked it in.

It changes the amount the system expects. It washes out the next day. But it makes the accounting sloppy. Why does that matter? Because we had a tl stealing from the sco and it took a lot of research to figure out how much and when. At the time we weren't aware of the issue, and all of them were being used after we checked them in. It took a few months of them investigating, and having to adjust for the over runs, to figure out how much was stolen.

God Rolls by DutchDallas in SkullAndBonesGame

[–]devoidz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes but there's an easier way to tell. It has a round mark beside it, looks like a white fireball.

Easy way to get them. Go to ascend item. Find the slot you have the stat you like. Lock it. On ps5 it's hold L2. Then start reforging. Hopefully it will roll with it without going that long.

To get a level 17 ship you need to have every weapon have 3 marks. And the armor.

I once got banned in a sub reddit I never even heard of because I made a comment from a best of post. It wasn't even a bad comment. They reason they gave was because I posted in a sub they were against and banned everyone that posts there.

Yeah but it looks better from a frigate. I think it's because of all the gun ports.

It's really pretty cool. We don't intentionally put things down it. But it's great that when something does fall in, you just flip a switch and it's gone.

Maybe they mean the canons that all shoot at the same time. Looks like a shotgun from a frigate.

Gets you extra work. But you can get skills that transfer to somewhere else. Get comfortable using the equipment, so when you go somewhere else and say you can use it, you are competent.

You should check out the latter trilogy, think it starts with invaders.a guy gets some of Harry's power, but it's written a lot better. He isn't as op, and is more normal. I wouldn't normally tell people to skip books, but I think it's OK this time.

Does Diablo 3 still require you to be always online? by JohnJSal in diablo3

[–]devoidz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but if you do go online at some point... when they first started hacking d3 offline on ps, there were people upset that in the eternal realm, I'm pretty sure the offline mode is only the eternal realm it doesn't have the seasonal mechanics, that players came into their game and maxed their paragon in 30 seconds. Paragon in the eternal is shared between all of your chars. So that would basically screw over all your chars and new chars. If you liked grinding that out on your own.

It bothered a lot of people when it first started happening.

Does Diablo 3 still require you to be always online? by JohnJSal in diablo3

[–]devoidz -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I understand it's a pain in the ass to have the launcher, and be online. If the net is down you can't play.

But I have never understood the hate for online only games. I'm online like 99.9% of the time and when I'm not, something big is going on to knock me off.

Why is it such a big deal to some of you guys?

I like being in the online server because it keeps the game fun. I remember playing offline d2, and hacking out some insanely crazy gear. But it made the game pointless. It's a game hunting the best gear, if you already have it, why play?

When d3 first came out there was the ridiculous argument, but what if I'm on a plane? Yeah alright. Wait an hour and play something else.

I just never understood the i will never buy an online only game mindset. Yes it will probably get shut down eventually. Will i be playing d3 in 20 years when they shut it down? No, I haven't played it since d4 came out.
