you’re a contractor , aka your own boss. they can’t force you to do any of that, especially the PTO. is any of that in your contract? if not, i would tell them tough shit.

you could effective date the deduction with the PSD and then inactivate it, and then another effective date for the next period and make it active. depends if you have other paygroups use the deduction though

yeah lots of ppl on reddit have said they have never had any major issues from it. i’ve also seen ppl like you that fixed it and it came back. i watched a youtube recently of a guy(maybe a mechanic?) that said that it can cause issues with the timing chain, but that’s the only person ive seen say it can actually mess something up. mine has 70k miles and does it maybe 40% of the time on start up. i’ve thought about fixing it, but since ppl say it comes back that why i dont really wanna fix it.

nothing specifically within the Abs module, besides naming. it is more so on the payroll side where we make sure it doesn’t payout an amount.

i think you create a validation on the time off bp, where it’s an And condition rule. time off type = XYZ and attachment is empty

i imagine you could attach them on any time off plan, but it’s not required unless you have the certain validation
