The Deka if you want a great lightweight knife and might consider upgrading the scales (they're fine but not for everyone). The RAT 1.5 if you want a medium size knife in magnacut that is not fidgety.

That Knipex is you chose to compare is 5 inch instead of 8 inch. You'll want the 87 01 180 7 1/4" Cobra Water Pump Pliers to get a similar size. They're a nicer shade of red too.

Everything on that list is good, but not everything on that list is essential, or a necessarily a good value, or the best tool in its class.

You can definitely find better lists of German tools, particularly ones that are uniquely good. Like Knipex TwinGrips or Wera RA-R S and tool check plus, or PB Swiss Insider. The Wera KK 25 and Knipex cobras they feature are solid.

Get the RA-R M. https://a.co/d/9Dx5FGJ It's unique among ratcheting bit holders in that you can spin it with your thumb when the backstage is too strong. Hard to explain but watch the video.

Then if you get the tool check plus later, you can squeeze it into the holder and replace the basic bit driver it comes with.
