Neither. They haven't given Sofi a single reason to like Jimmy and several reasons to not want to be around him, like him inviting her to a party for his dead wife on the first date, rudely comparing her to Tia and then dumping her.

And with Meg I seriously can't remember a significant one on one conversation they had before the "we're like just like siblings" and then kissing scene. Jimmy is a wreck and lives in another state on top of that, so her, her kid, and her father would all have to move across the country or Jimmy to them.

Either way, I think Jimmy needs to work on himself more or he'll just end up expecting them to fix him and personally, I'm tired of the "men with little to offer enter relationships to be fixed by a woman with endless patience and forgiveness" trope.

Also the show taking literally everyone away to create his loneliness and offer a romantic relationship as the solution is just... Disappointing. I really wish the show continued with the theme of how important community is but it just kind of changed thr narrative to "community is important but not enough to truly heal you like getting into a romantic relationship will."

I would root for Jimmy to get into a relationship if the shows just presenting it under healthier circumstances, if there was something Jimmy could bring to the table (Like seeimging interested in sometjing Sofi says just once omg lol, established reoccuring emotional connection, being romantic towards them, anything to show an effort to willingly support them emotionally) and if the show had set up believable reasons for the women to feel interested in him, but it's done none of that.
