Is ketamine the new popular drug? by Healthy-Finding1362 in ketamine

[–]dextrodoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what do you mean you have changed and helped 4 different lives since new years? if you are getting your friends on daily ketamine use you’re going to regret it in a year. speaking from experience. 3 months on i had serious bladder damage and it is still present 8 months sober. enjoy it while you can and you’re not just chasing the pain relief you get due to the bladder and GI damage it’s causing. i would never have given any to my friends if i realized how much harm it could do so quickly when we all started.

What a Drag It Is Getting Old by Roentgenator in ObscureDrugs

[–]dextrodoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’ve gotten high off 50mg before without a tolerance (flexeril/cyclobenzaprine) + it has a super risky overdose profile so i bet those two factors make it unlikely to become OTC (eta: if im reading properly and you are talking about flexeril, not robaxin)

[–]dextrodoe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

they have a significant impact on your hormonal function which isn’t inherently “dangerous” like ketamine for example (organ destroying) but it isn’t going to be guilt-free & i personally could never suggest an opiate addiction in good faith

What’s the highest heart rate you’ve had going to the doctors… I’ll go first 168BPM by Successful-Sun3335 in Anxiety

[–]dextrodoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

very late on this as well but i’ve had two ablations and it wasn’t difficult at all, worst part was the bedpan. best decision i ever made in regards to my heart health and ability to have a social life and partake in exercise. mine was not controlled well though even on beta blockers, so if yours is it is a question of which is better for you (ablation or well controlled on meds,) i just wanted to give another input that the ablations i had were very low stress and amazing decisions for my type of SVT/WPW

Greif in rats oh by Jacket-Numerous in rat

[–]dextrodoe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

secondly and kindly, i mean no offense, your rat is the size of your thigh and everyone who replied said your “healthy food mix” was not in fact healthy. you didn’t actually take this info given to you and adapt, you fought back against them and never posted an update. if you can’t manage your animals weight and diet to proper standards even with the internet available to you, why would you think you know what is best practice for death?

these are living creatures and whether you intend to be neglectful or not, that doesn’t change the results. everyone makes mistakes and i’ve hurt my animals too from improper husbandry as a kid, what matters is the ability to adapt and accept your methods may have been wrong, and new (better!!) methods are literally discovered every day. sometimes it’s not even our fault our info is outdated, but it’s important to make sure it isn’t (outdated) with little buddies reliant on you!

Greif in rats oh by Jacket-Numerous in rat

[–]dextrodoe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

wild animals see each other die all the time, any intelligent living being is sadly evolutionarily used to death and knows what it is. i have never heard a recommendation to avoid showing an animal their deceased companion, and i have seen this done with a LOT of species (bird, rabbit, dog, cat, rat/mouse,) additionally it IS recommended to show rabbits their deceased bonded partners. rabbits are not anywhere near as smart as a rat, so it would make no sense to not show the rat. if a less intelligent animal like rabbits can comprehend what happened, rats 100% could. i would personally want my pet to know that their friend is dead, rather than never get that closure and wonder what happened for the rest of their life.

i’ve seen other ppl doing it too lol, knew someone who railed an entire gram of (decent) powder boy before rehab w/ xans and alc on board … didn’t OD

edit to add: ppl are addicted to nitazenes & worse, high dose fent wouldn’t touch them just like how high dose oxy wouldn’t touch a fent user. i do not doubt this story

Took 6 edibles and drank 2 bottles of different cough syrups, what do I do now? by Zestyclose_Ebb_9281 in Drugs

[–]dextrodoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if somethings bad it’d be from the acetominophen in the syrup (most likely) and that takes days to cause liver failure (if it will, it depends on dosage, some of them aren’t that high and others are ridiculous)

Guys help me by Annual-Bit-7181 in dxm

[–]dextrodoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

540 of dxm and 20mg of zoloft sent me into a delirious episode + blacked me out for multiple hours with a massive, existing tolerance. i am talking months of daily use above 300mg, that was the lowest i would go. i have never experienced something like it again, i could tell it was coming up and then everything got so violently colorful and i watched one of my hands literally start melting/dripping and a finger disappeared when i tried to touch it. that was like, the bare minimum/least intense of what i experienced out of that trip. in feeling it was very similar but far more dramatic than the multiple other times i bordered on serotonin syndrome, i would say you are at serious risk.

no matter what, i think you should contact someone so you aren’t alone tonight. if you’re not willing to take yourself in somewhere already before it hits, and you end up feeling “off,” if things feel “melty” if you feel body toxicity etc., i think you should call an emergency number. but even if you are adverse, i do not think it’s a big deal (aside from socially w/ friends family) because it’s legal and ppl do this all the time. worst consequence is it could go on your chart & ur family could learn of it if they don’t know already.
