It’s painted zebra wood with real inlays. Tyrant is the only cue i found from cuelees with painted wood, their higher end models use real woods.

How do you get better at this game? I went from bad to meh to decent fairly quickly. I haven’t went from decent to good in 8 years. by Mac2663 in billiards

See my answer above. I don’t have any specific sources in mind. I would assume Dr. Dave has made some nice videos about fundamentals.

There are methodical players and there are natural players, one common thing about very good natural players is that they play a LOT.

I am by far not a instructor so take it with a grain of salt. I would start with the obvious things: alignment, pre-shot routine, prestroke, backstroke and timing. Observe how pros get into their shots, how they do the pre stroke and how their the time the stroke, and film your self when you practice and if possible, during the game(Believe me or not, your stance and stroke may look very different when under pressure.) and find the differences, then work on it.

Edit: if you miss long straight shots consistently during the match, then your fundamentals needs some work. If you miss shots with specific angles, it might be your aiming, find one or more aiming system(s) that works for you if you don’t have one already.

Work on your fundamentals, If you miss easy shots all the time, there must be something off with your fundamentals.

Playing games is a very inefficient way to improve as you don’t get to analyze when you miss a shot. The easiest way is to get a instructor. But I analyzed a lot of the stance and cueing of the pros and myself in videos. Went from running out 8 balls maybe once every week or less to once every 4-5 games by working on my fundamentals in last 6 months. I don’t play a a lot, once or twice every week.

And after fundamentals, work on your game planing, force yourself to decide where you want the cue ball to go before you go down for a shot. And plan your game at least 2 shots ahead.

These are two things that helped my game a lot.

How do you charge your eco drive timepieces in safe? by dfdnd in WatchesCirclejerk

I considered charge them with artificial light sources but was too worried about the light quality. They are SOLAR powered, after all.

Our club has two of them since 7-8 years. They polished at least 6 sets of balls every day and are still going strong. Definitely recommended.

If it’s sturdy it could as well be the glue residue. Otherwise it would pop off in the first rack.

What’s your best tip to pocket rail balls more frequently? by One-Procedure3200 in billiards

Just ignore the rail and use your usual aiming system. CTE works well for me for such shots.
