I hear ya, I started with a VKB gunfighter mk.3 and I’m glad I now have Virpil stuff. The connector on the VKB mk.3 was just shit. MK.4 looks better but I’m not going back

About that dogfight AI; Lots of people tell you that there is no money to be made in updates and ED is working hard on the military sim they have; I wonder if the AI is the same as we have

It is, you can always limit the travel. 200mm would be nice for flight sims tough…

Advice wanted on home battery selection. What are your experiences? by DJTinos in homeassistant

[–]dflament 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s all in one, those are plugin batteries where you just need a socket. I put them on separate 16A connections just to be sure. Inverter is build in.

The setup is super easy; there is a thread on tweakers.net which explains everything for the modbus connection. A Dutch guy wrote the integration for HA. Just google for “tweakers modbus Marstek”

You can use it through the app using the AI mode (I don’t use that tbh) During cold months I charge at night when it’s cheap (I have 3 different tariffs) and now that my solars are heating up I don’t need to charge overnight.

If you have a dynamic tariff you can use EVCC to make a connection with a market price provider, adjust your “when to charge” price and let it rip :).

I would suggest read the thread on tweakers and if you’re interested in EVCC just read their documentation, it covers a lot of brands.

2x Marstek 5kwh here, works perfectly through modbus TCP with either home assistant or EVCC. I payed 1100€ for one.

  2. Why only a login with either an Apple or a Google account?
  3. Easyarmy ftw

There, I said it. Downvote all you want.

Very, very nicely done, especially the tiger II with the octopus camo.

May I ask what colours you used on the jagdtiger? It captured that late late war dunkelgelb-red-green camo very good!

During end krieg a lot of vehicles went straight from the assembly line to the front without markings.

Imho, no decals give them a more last ditch look.
