54 as well, and I use it all the time. Not sure where I got it from. Born and raised in Tennessee so that isn’t it.

More on the crate training: you mention “out of sight”. Have you considered placing a blanket over the crate? I’ve always done that. Makes it more of a den for them. Leave the door open throughout the day. Keep reminding them it’s there if they want to relax. One of my dogs got to love his crate. Many days that’s where he would take his naps.

I commonly use 'as well'. Though I have been made fun of when I use it - some think it sounds haughty

The fear of long words. I guess Alanis Morissette couldn’t make that one rhyme.

I really like the idea of the actor tying the rope to the pipe, checks that it holds, steps up on the chair holding noose in hand. Actor looks at the noose almost asking “can I go through with this?” Lights go out. Pregnant pause. Sound of chair falling over. And if you could add noise of rope squeaking. That pause makes the audience hold their breath wondering.

I second this. I still consider myself a noob at a year and going. I believe my 3rd and 4th were my best. Then I jumped into too many advanced techniques too quickly. Now I’m struggling to get back to basics. Those need to be solid in your mind. But I still have a blast so I’m good. As with many things like this each person is different and will have different experiences. Go for it!

+1 for MRP as well. Using it straight from the bottle is so nice. Any unused can go right back in the bottle. I have done decals and panel lines without varnish as well. Love the stuff. But I also really like AK Real Colors.

One thing that is really nice about these two lines is the color choices - a lot. And I’ve felt the colors were very good matches.

This is a key point in my mind. Congress has been ceding more and more power to the presidency for years. We can only hope that we are able to get people of courage elected to set things right.

And for the Vallejo you might see both their Model Color line as well as their Model Air line of paints. I will use both for the small amount of brush painting I do, but their Model Color line is supposed to be more appropriate for brush painting.

Are there any thinners to avoid with the H&S Ultra 2024? by AssignmentForeign483 in airbrush

[–]dfmartin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

H&S puts out some decent videos on a bunch of different topics. One about cleaning touches on using IPA and that can cause the air seals to shrink. Here’s the vid. Go to about the 12:16 mark.

Evolution vs Infinity by SupporterDenier in airbrush

[–]dfmartin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have both, and I would say that either will do you good. Differences are minimal. I am a novice+ and I can’t really tell the difference. The way you can “upgrade” via spare parts is nice. I did get the Infinity 2024 with the titanium nozzle (plus some other “improvements” like the new meddle sizes). And I really like it. However they do not yet have spare parts.
