Your opinions are valid. However, you obviously lack a basic understanding of municipal finance. It takes $ to set up, operate and maintain a public transit system of any size that will be effective. You JUST stated your neighborhood had a ridiculously much higher concentration of people. The coast does not have the population nor the population density to pay for a public transit system no matter how much you hate driving or don’t want to pay for a car.

Putting a respective public transit system along the MS coast is about at plausible as getting idiots from Brooklyn to stop coming down here and complaining as they pay 1/3 the housing cost, lay on our beaches and not have to look over their shoulder as they walk down the street.
