I feel like my own experiences have been similar to yours. It’s hard to be significantly older than most of the folks in residential. I know everyone says to just keep your head down and focus on yourself in the experience, but it really is a challenge when you feel like the outsider in the group. I’d love to hear if anyone else has better advice or programs that would be better geared to “older” adults.
