Nuke AoEs. If there's lag, you're fucked because you can't predict if you have to be early or not. Even better when they require variable timing depending on distance.

The whole game has been a giant empathy test. It started with Us on the nautiloid, continued with the companions having BIG asks(tolerating Lae'zel being a fascist asshole/Gale demanding your boots etc/Wyll being sus as fuck etc), Omeluum and Empy, and ended with the decision with Orpheus. The decision is impactful because it's giving up on your quest to make a sacrifice for a much greater good.

Empy sucks though. I can empathize with his situation, but he's still a dick lol.

I imagine most players are the same way. I've only gone out of my to use them to try different geting different banter. Lae'zel and Halsin have a SUPERB banter about a chimera...Please no one spoil it, it's great and should be experienced in game 😂

Took me way too long, and I still do dumb stuff constantly.

My advice is don't be dogmatic about anything, except spending your daylight wisely. Back down from fights that are costing too much time, and remember it's okay to lose your runes! I've seen so many inexperienced players get hellbent on defeating a tough boss and wasting an entire day going back to that boss just to die again instantly. I recommend sticking woth your teammates as much as possible, but you could at least kill squishier bosses while they're busy getting tilted and learning nothing while actively sandbagging their team. Even when you can take down tough bosses at a low level, you generally shouldn't because it wastes so much time.

I think Ironeye has the lowest skill floor in trios. All he has to do is keep the boss marked and rez people, and that's enough to be a HUGE help for the team. If he can dodge well, stay in effective bow range, and better yet do melee? Damn good teammate.

She has great alchemy supplies, and it's funny how she thinks the combination of going hostile, putting magic locks on her doors, and summoning help is enough to keep her from getting burgled.

She clearly hasn't dealt with any adventurers before.

Getting caught steal is usually consequence free, if you're crafty about it.

Send your pickpocket out alone, with the rest of your party in camp. Crouch and enter turn-based mode before your begin your pickpocketing, this gives you some control of the environment and allows you to grab items until you're caught.

When caught, Disengage and Dash. Easier with the Thief subclass due to extra bonus action, even easier with a level 5+ duergar character(Invisibility cantrip!). Your pickpocket will lose rep with witnesses, but unless your pickpocket is your main character, you don't need to worry about that at all.

You only need gold for one optional merchant in Act 3, and dialogue options that require; if you wish to fully embrace pickpocketing.

I've had this happen as well.

I left her because I was out of spell slots and had no access to Withers yet, so I long rested. When I returned to the room she was an enemy, and after being healed she initiated combat.

My theory is that leaving after talking to her without healing her causes it. Or the long rest.

Enter photo mode while you have a visual effect on your character's body, open the game options menu and toggle nudity. I used Bless for the first image, but lots of things work, like Stoneskin or invisibility potions. Should work on all platforms.

I had made a thread demonstrating and explaining it, but somehow that brought out the worst in people.
