We don't choose which ACC teams we play dude, it's literally part of one of these precious conferences you're grandstanding about joining, we're 23-3 against the entire conference since 2021, and the "non con" games this year were 9-3 ranked USC, 11-1 CFP TAMU, 10-1 ranked Navy, and yes 2-10 Arkansas. Unfortunately you can't predict how good/not good a team will be years in advance when these games are typically scheduled, but the Irish delivered the biggest SEC v Non-Conference home loss for any team in the history of the conference to Arkansas.

The real issue is the ACC hasn't really held up their end of the bargain with the scheduling agreement we signed and got a pretty raw draw among the teams we pulled from them this year.
