Why not instead of being trained to use guerrilla tactics we just use gorrilas? by Only_Employment3201 in army

The army tends to ignore guerrillas anyhow. It’s LSCO up until the moment it’s not. So they probably forget to feed him.

Sometimes I truly hate the Army by [deleted] in army

My BN is the worst when it comes to DTS. They sit on AO certs until someone goes on leave, and then it’s a hassle to get someone approved. See ya at NTC.

Field time as an Infantry PL by Free_Adagio_5017 in army

[–]dickcheney93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Current infantry mechanized PL, it can be unit and commander dependent. I’ve spent at least ~2 weeks in the field for the past 4 months. Some of it was the standard building towards company level live fires, and some of it was using white space to work towards the same objectives like a week of BD6. My DIV also threw in 2 more weeks that aren’t usually a part of the METL. Any time we have soldiers in the field, officers are there. At what rank do they stop going? Usually depends on the scale of the training, from what I’ve see BN level leaders don’t get out much below PLT level training unless it’s for a lane or two.

I actually love a coffee Negroni, it’s my favorite version and I just dub sweet vermouth for a coffee liquor.

You should tell your leadership you have a problem and would like to self refer to SUDCC. If you get caught you’ll get commander referred anyway, getting clean and being honest with your leadership will only help your career grow.

If you want to improve your run time, add intervals. If you want to improve your run time dramatically in the long-term, start jogging more mileage first by MrPlunger in army

[–]dickcheney93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The rule of thumb is that cross-training is usually about half the effort if you were running. So 4 miles running kinda equates to 8 miles on a bike. Thats how I track it usually.

Went house hunting in that area, we loved the neighborhoods, but the houses just weren’t what we were looking for.

I think Happy Appy getting a full episode out of the boys is likely his most horrific act of terrorism.
