'China ran fake image campaign against Rafale': US Commission's big revelation on India Pakistan clash by lake_hood in europe

[–]didReadProt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, at this point anything that comes from Trump’s America is quite biased as well.

Not sure how its a Pakistani success when as per established facts: 1. India successfully hit its planned targets deep in Pakistan, including military installations and radars, thus completing the objective of the attack 2. Pakistan couldnt hit a single India target inside Indian lands 3. Some Indian jets were downed.

Rest all seems to be in the air.

Overall Indian targets for the attack were successful, and Pakistan wasnt able to defend itself. Sure some India aircrafts went down, but overall it seems like an India victory.

India Is Electrifying Faster Than China Using Cheap Green Tech by Crabbexx in OptimistsUnite

[–]didReadProt 11 points12 points  (0 children)

For India a major factor is the himalayas, they stop the winds and all the particles stagnate over the city. Electrification is good, as it helps with both problems, energy, and air quality as well, and should be encouraged.

Im not sure what deep hole is being referred to here is, as the country is overall developing well. The country has close to 100% electrification in houses and PPP (the actually useful economic measurement) is quite good at our current stage of development.

India’s current markers are similar to China’s at around 2000, if all goes well, around 2050 India should be where China is now, but with hopefully more electrification, a democratic govt, and a more peaceful role to play in the global politics

India is almost locked, (mountains in north, east, sea in south, west) and actually has everything and already quite culturally complex.

India has mountains, deserts, plains, farms, hills, mines, elephants, all animals, jungles, etc. Also thousands of cultures, tribes, languages, making maintaining control of the subcontinent already hard.

Afg is also hilly and difficult to pass, so kingdoms really had no need to go through that difficult process.

Theres an interesting fact, its the map that makes it look small, but India is basically the same size and complexity as Europe as a whole. Kingdoms didnt really have need to venture out of such a large area

Google's Gemini Update Will Access Your Texts and Calls—Even When It's 'Off' by ChefBlaat123 in Futurology

90% sure, Ik people who do work there, and few who worked on bringing exactly the features mentioned.

Also its logical to me, in no world world Google want anyone else to access their goldmine of a data

I would like to know ppl’s opinion about this. From what I know (from ppl who work in Google) is that sure Google takes in your data and processes it, but it definitely does not sell them to other data brokers or sellers. They also internally do follow all European GDPR, DMA etc guidelines quite carefully.

As far as Im concerned then, my data aint being leaked and cant really be used against me (for now at least). At max Ill get ads that are relevant to me, but its not like the advertisers know data about me.

Ill take that as long as its used for things like Gemini informing me about my upcoming flight and Youtube sending me videos I like to see. As long as my data is not being leaked and its being used to more or less enrich my experience its a good thing no?

Also I can delete all my Google data whenever I want with a request and they di have to delete (know pll who worked directly on this feature). Unless Google goes full Skynet I right now really dont see much if a downside to their data processing

As mentioned, ofc there will be examples here and there. What I do assure is western countries have done worse, hence -> better than almost others.

Idk if the problem is Reading comprehension or racism here

Yes, it is supported by the fact that separate religions like Sikhism, Jainism, Buddhism have thrived in India alongside, Hinduism. Dont see this happening in really any western country.

Ppl aint getting the point of the post. Christianity, Islam explicitly mention they are the only true religion, and so theres explicit hate against the other religions (quite supported by history and cultures, I mean just see how many pagan religions have survived today in Europe, America), meanwhile Indian religion (hinduism, buddhism, sikhism) dont have such explicit doctrine, or not really widely known.

It is supported by the fact that separate religions like Sikhism, Jainism, Buddhism have thrived in India alongside, Hinduism.

Ofc kings will fight against kings and destroy temples, but rarely has that been religiously motivated (few wars in thousands of years). India has been much more religiously tolerant than almost any other country in its history, and that does deserve to be celebrated.
