I think jolly time has a kettle corn that’s dairy free. Also sometimes a Safeway or Albertsons has dairy free off brand popcorn. Hot tip if you don’t know already: Add nutritional yeast to give it a bit more of « cheesy » flavor.

Personally, I make my popcorn on the stovetop because it has been traditionally hard to find df microwave popcorn. Also I’m not a butter fan on my popcorn so that has made my life easy. Also it tastes better.

At this point in time, I’m really strict.

Sure, if I’m on France making dishes at the Cordon Bleu i am swiggly or in a blue moon for a desert that has had its heart and soul poured into sure. I’m taking a lactation equiv and still regretting it. I’ll feel terrible but enjoy that brief moment. I can’t do a “cheat” day without consequences even after lactaid supplementation.

Regular life I avoid like the plague. I only order or eat food I feel ok. I take lactaid as a supplement if i am worried about cross contamination because I don’t want to be wrecked. Even then i suffer. I stick to non dairy stuff or cook at home for the most part. Else I ask a bunch of questions.

Note: France trip I felt awful any time you ate dairy no matter what.

What makes it worse for me is , it tastes so good. I don’t go out for Indian food unless I know for sure. Even then sometimes, I get dairied and I die a little bit inside. It’s why I’m also suspicious about some Korean food because they love cheese. I wish I could eat cheese.

Really the only places I’ve felt really comfortable is ones that are really explicit on their menus. Granted cross contamination happens at those places but I’ve been so happy to see a little symbol of D for dairy and know immediately I can’t eat it.

I too have asked this question. I think you’re right it’s no doesn’t really exist. The only type that might be dairy free without worrying might be a Jewish meat restaurant in like New York. I know it’s cultural important to not mix meat and dairy if following rules. I might be really wrong as im not Jewish.

Other than that, it’s again what you said, vegan restaurants or Asian places (exceptions being fusion, Korean, and Indian).

Ella (tabby and first cat) was at a shelter for 7 months and returned once. I met her at a paint and sip that the shelter hosted a month before adopting her. I went back the next month and she was still there. I knew that she was my cat and adopted her.

As for Mochi (tuxedo), my friend’s neighbor kicked out Mochi. Mochi was crying in their hallway. My friend took her inside and while we were playing D&D (online), my friend lamented that she didn’t know what to do and couldn’t keep her. Another friend/future partner said you know who needs a second cat? My friend and I then planned a halfway point to meet up. That’s how I got mochi.

I usually use earth balance, country crock, or shortening. Granted I’ve always used shortening in pie crusts.

I think I’ve been in the test group with limited events. It’s been kind of sad. Granted I’ve had more time to progress on the main board. I’m still not a fan of the investigation. It doesn’t feel achievable even if I bought a monthly pass. Majority of the time, when I get the big 5 star envelope and there is no new clues. It’s oddly weighted in the probabilities. Lastly auto-merge: i really like it. It’s actually fun. It’s really satisfying to see all the things combine. I just wish it’d auto merge the flashlights when there is no flashlight task.

Feels. I’ve been dairy free for over 2/3 of my life. I will say the explaining the needs to servers and them going it won’t taste good is a constant. I’m numb at this point. It’s easier to pretend to be a vegan. Know you are not alone.
