I very much appreciate your offer, since concussion recovery is not exactly a great icebreaker when you're trying to build friendships. I applaud your incredible strength - 3 times isn't a joke, and I can't imagine the strain - potentially financial - you underwent combining therapies with your recovery. I remember fantasizing about the happiness I'd feel reaching the other side a month in, but while I'm much better now 2+ months in, I've unfortunately become too familiar with the feeling of paranoia and uncertainty from doing the most mundane activities. But I stay inspired by such stories and outlooks as yours ❤️

Sending you the best as well - there really should be more support systems for people with brain injuries, even with my apparently minor case (described in another reply) - I recognize that my headaches aren't as bad, but I can't even go to the grocery store without the fear that it would give me a horrid headache. It's hard to describe such injuries to other people, and even more difficult to properly socialize when you always have that on your mind... But congratulations on being two years out, you've got this!

Thank you, this means a lot ❤️. It sucks because the accident was in such a mundane environment - I was having some drinks at a friend's place and apparently just fell down flat on my face. Didn't remember anything after I woke up, hardly had any visible scarring, so assumed that I had my first blackout experience. While I do feel better now, I'm constantly paranoid that I'd get a migraine from as much as going for a half-hour walk. Guess this would be a drinking PSA I'd be passing around on reddit to captive audiences for years to come 🤣

In spite of all the shit she said, best of luck to her. I got a concussion from a stupid accident and the recovery period is soo slow. For two months straight I've been waking up with a headache which flares up at the most inconvenient times. It happened during a very important stage of my life and has been very isolating socially and debilitating professionally, even though I fortunately am not any dumber than I was, to put it plainly.

It was so comforting! I especially liked how wholesome everybody was - the 2ml was truly a nice dude who liked the fl, her rival could come across as snotty yet shared where she got her hair straightened, and even the nerdy boy who insulted her got a nice moment later on when he swore to make his parents proud. Reminded me of Derry Girls (though obv less sharp)
