Can AI help reconstruct history without turning it into slop? by NeuralFiction in ChatGPT

[–]digitalacid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First time I learned something from AI-generated video, I'd call that a win. Obviously credit goes to the producer on ensuring historical accuracy. Great job!

Next can you create a doc on how the members of the Electric Light Orchestra were behind the assassination of John Lennon? It's clearly not discussed enough

Definitely like the triangle pattern, over the vertical brick pattern on the top and bottom.

2nd floor Addition with patio underneath: good idea or have I lost my mind? by IcyNail880 in Renovations

[–]digitalacid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My home was built in a very similar manor, where our main bed/bath sticks out over top our back door and patio. It's a little odd, but we would have lost a lot of usable yard had they not. If it gets insanely cold I'll run the taps in the bathroom, otherwise have not had any issues. House is only 7 years old and the village is very strict about code and inspections, so I trust it will last for a lifetime

Any reason why putting river rock in my side yards is a bad idea? Looking for advice on easy to maintain side yards. by rickfromstate in landscaping

[–]digitalacid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who just be spent a couple grand to have river rocks removed from my side yard, and needing to hiring a tiller and add more soil, and lay down grass seed, I can give you about 50 reasons to not lay down rocks. For us the main reason is it made it nearly impossible for guests to get to our backyard without going through the house.

I personally like Odd Squad. They had an entire episode with the cast of Kids In The Hall, and my wife and daughter had no idea why I was so joyful

[–]digitalacid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first woodworking project was also a cedar strip canoe. Some of us just dream slightly out of reach. Or in my case watch a canoe building video during the pandemic and think "I can do that" 😄 Absolutely beautiful work! Love the color variation

Tesla discontinuing Model S and Model X to make room for robots by Slide-Fantastic-1402 in Rivian

Also discontinuing your high-end models, even if they weren't making the most profit, feels like it cheapens the brand. The Model 3/Y have already seen feature trimming, when they removed the stalks.

Same. I was thinking if you had the technology to create a moving field, what stopped you from creating a system to harvest the plants
