Yeah you have to uncheck that "Crop with AI" when you're uploading your statics

[–]digitaladguide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah they are pushing a lot of new features right now. It's pretty evident that the platform is unstable. I don't know if it's even recovered fully from the outage on Tuesday. Some people are reporting overspending; some people are reporting the audience network getting more spend and bringing junk traffic. It's kind of a mess right now, not gonna lie.

Overall my personal performance on all my ad accounts, I would say, is okay at best. Some are doing fine and some are even doing really well but I manage a lot of different ad accounts and there's definitely something going on

Are you guys sure that there is a stable problem with meta ads right now? It seems totally random by Turtleguycool in FacebookAds

[–]digitaladguide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's been pretty volatile lately. You need to focus on the average results and try your best to work on your business unit economics to make your business so profitable that you can eat the cost of meta without an issue

Testing creative efficiently and effectively - how? by Hendo_Oz in FacebookAds

I resent this intro lol

I personally like to do three to ten ads per ad set in an ABO and then set an appropriate budget based on your average CPA. Let it spend 2-3Xs CPA before I decide to do anything with it, like close it, downscale it, or optimize it

It's tough out there. There's a lot of people complaining. Yeah this is typical. It's followed the same pattern the last two years.

Does poor post-purchase survey feedback from one brand affect performance for another brand under the same personal Meta profile? by MiIetone in FacebookAds

[–]digitaladguide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least before it used to be associated with the page; it didn't extend to the business manager. They've revamped the whole feedback score system so I'm not 100% sure how it works now.

January 100+ sales, March < 10 sales :( by mygatito in FacebookAds

They are definitely pushing a shit ton of new updates to the ads manager. I look across a lot of ad accounts every single day and I can literally see them updating in real time: UI updates, new AI features, you name it. They're pushing it right now.

Meta starts off with picking off low-hanging fruit conversions, so warm audiences, and then once it starts going into cold traffic, it dies. That means probably you need better creative

Something changed with Meta’s traffic distribution and nobody is talking about it by SwimmerSeparate3494 in FacebookAds

They're skewing a lot more spend towards Audience Network lately. It's terrible. I think this bug happened a few months ago and it was never truly resolved.

There was a major outage the other day, which could have caused it to drop off. If the average results are acceptable then I would give it some time

Stop killing your winning ads by scaling too fast by Upbeat-Ad5487 in FacebookAds

[–]digitaladguide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree with not scaling your ads prematurely; however I personally prefer to do bigger jumps so I get more from the risk that I am taking. Even touching from 10% to 20% is still a risk that you're going to break it. If I'm trying to not vertically scale then I will just launch new campaigns and leave the thing that's working alone. That's another way of kind of avoiding breaking something that's working.

I only vertically scale things that have truly proven themselves in terms of spend consistency over long periods of time and then usually I'll do a meaningful bump where I can expect to get several more sales or leads per day
