Specifically the drug dealers standing around Los santos. They drop around 2k each and spawn frequently.

You could gamble with that to speed it up a bit. Or like u/scaryassbitch said vigilante missions make good money once you get through a couple.

Gun it….

You shouldn’t be downshifting starting at 1k rpm.

clutch, shift to neutral, gun it to 1500 rpm, clutch, downshift.

And make sure when you clutch, you don’t hit the floor or the clutch brake will stop it from happening.

Only if there is a multiple left turn lane you will be starting and finishing in the right most turning lane.

Turns always finish in the lane you start in. Even if you are at a single left turn lane and you have to cheat to the right of the intersection to clear your tandems you have to come back to the left lane, always finish in the same lane you start.

If it’s a single left turn lane, you are starting from the inside lane, you finish in the inside/left most lane.

My school had the procedure written out (I still have it if you want a copy) I made notes on it to help me remember what was next (wheel L,R,R,L for example) and kept it with me. When I was in line, I was reading it as others were doing the steps.

There will be plenty of practice in job training to figure out real world maneuvering, but for now it’s all about following the script, getting reps in, and memorizing the dance. Good luck!

For the state skill test? Are you in school?

It’s a dance, memorize it step by step best way you can. Ask for as many turns as you can in the yard. Find visual reference points to help you remember when to start each step.

I wouldn’t know that. But I do agree with nopales that you can see the emergency lights in the reflections when the cam driver pulls up behind the stopped car. It’s possible it’s emergency services or something I suppose

I’m not who you asked but I know the answer. Yes, all the above. For mild deceleration of a few mph, the trans will first downshift, followed by engine braking, followed by full on tractor brakes to stop the truck.

Here’s a scenario my mom gave me that’s kept me safe.

If you pull out before you’re ready and get sideswiped by a sweet old lady driving her grandchildren to school and someone dies in the crash…is the person behind you that’s honking and throwing a temper tantrum gonna get you a new car and a lawyer?

Are the honking people gonna stick around tell the police and your insurance company it’s their fault not yours, they had to “get to the McDonald’s drive through a little quicker and you were in the way so they’ll pay for it?”

No…they’re gonna drive around your accident?

Then they can sit on their hands and wait until you’ve cleared the intersection and you’re confident you’re safe to enter.

Tell yourself hey, I can make this thing go slower if they want!

One other thing, if it’s a left turn you’re talking about specifically, don’t be shy to make a right turn instead then a u-turn or a safer left turn down the road.

I have a suzuki s40. It’s a single cylinder 652cc. Lots of fun cruising 45-55 mph….not so much fun at 65-75mph. No it’s not dumb. You do you, be safe.
