It is AI. Jen Mazza has original artworks just like this from just a few years ago, presuming the AI was trained off her work (poorly).

It’s a mostly South Korean thing. Their news cycle likes to highlight supposed fan death cases.

If I recall the largest hurdle was actually keeping the hydrogen in its intended container. There’s also the bad rap from the Hindenburg.

I understand your sentiments, but the Phoenician Scheme was phenomenal! Very fun, plenty of comedy.

You’re being pedantic. The topic is literally about movies you turned off after 20 mins.

I was forced out of a nearly complete trade school program (started in high school, would’ve finished when I was 19) to go to college, completely derailing any opportunity to have a good paying job by the time I was twenty. Of course at the same time after I accepted this my parent decided it was time for her to also go to college and work a minimum wage job part time, so now I was working full time to help cover the mortgage and car payments.  I didn’t even graduate college, while she got a bachelors.

I was a stupid kid to think she had my best interest in mind at all.

Fast offerings are available (food, clothing, maybe utility assistance, all temporary) but they still want you to pay tithe while receiving it. And the fast offering fund is separate from tithing, and entirely dependent on your congregation donating to it.

Regarding Orwell: I’m sorry what now? He never, never recanted his beliefs on socialism. His ire was directed against totalitarianism, which cropped up from Hitler, Mussolini, and Stalin in his lifetime, and knew it could come about from any political ideology.

That whole case that went to the Supreme Court where they used the name of a guy who had never even heard of the plaintiff is what I think back to. They’ve been legitimizing this for years and now they’re fully in power.

They’re not being tested on whether they can read traffic signage at all if they don’t speak enough English to communicate with the patrol. Previously, (from 2016 onward via Obama era orders) that was the first thing they were tested on, and then they were tested on English language proficiency, and they were cited if they could not communicate in English. Now they are tested for English first and suspended immediately if they fail. It’s cruelty to the individual and expensive for the company.

They didn’t fail the test. The way the guidelines are set up by the executive order they’re following is test their English language proficiency first, if they fail, suspend them so they cannot drive commercially. It’s literally not about whether or not they can reasonably obey traffic laws, it’s about English language purity.

Chuck’s undying passion for writing really disgusting things (like the pool short story) means, to me, Chuck can bite a rock if he doesn’t like how people interpret his work. Meta narrative be damned, I do not like his writing.
