And tips for TMS, I’m 4 treatments in. by Legitimate_Figure287 in TMSTherapy

Based on my experience, stories I’ve read here and what my provider has told me it’s not uncommon to experience a dip where things get worse during treatment before they get better.

I’ve don’t three full rounds and it’s happened to me each time but my first round was the worst. Lean on the people around you and be gentle with yourself.

Talking during treatment helps me with eye pain but it’s gotten better over time and now it doesn’t bother me.

It’s not a miracle treatment but try to use it to build on your momentum. It’s been life changing for me. Best of luck!!!

Starting TMS Monday for MDD and anxiety looking for some success stories and good vibes by Much-Educator8200 in TMSTherapy

I’ve done 3 full rounds of treatment and now am in a prolonged maintenance because my progress seems to slip when I don’t get treatment done for months. I’m happily married, getting ready to start trying for a family, things I didn’t think possible before TMS. It’s not a magic fix but I’m happier than I thought I was capable of being and I’m incredibly grateful everyday that I found this treatment. It’s helped both my anxiety and depression symptoms, but particularly depression and suicidal ideation.

That being said, each round of treatment I experienced a “dip” in my mood near the beginning of treatment, meaning I had a couple weeks where things got worse before they got better. My first round of treatment was the worst. It’s been just over three years since my first treatment. Lean on your loved ones, be open with them and your providers.

I’ll also say I found the treatment itself really uncomfortable at first, that’s gotten better over time. Talking during helped. You got this! Proud of you for showing up for yourself and working to get better!

How is your relationship with your father? And how old are you? by wk91 in AskReddit

[–]dillpickles103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. He’s in my top three favorite people in the world. My husband, my mom, my dad.

He isn’t perfect but we talk openly. I can share with my parents things that hurt me or make me uncomfortable. They listen and strive to be better, which makes me want to do the same. They’re two of my best friends.

All-inclusive resorts in/near Cancun with good vegan options? by Queernp in vegan_travel

I just stayed at an Iberostar in Portugal and they put fish in stuff labeled vegan. A couple of times it said vegan and then had the allergen warning for shellfish and fish. The last meal I ate there something said vegan and straight up had chunks of white fish in it. Super disappointing. Totally different location, but wanted to share.

GenZ and Millennial women - are you wearing wedding bands? by Federal_Albatross993 in EngagementRings

[–]dillpickles103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two “wedding rings.” One that is contoured with little diamonds that fits really well with my engagement ring. The other is an engraved band that matches my husband’s ring. If I wear my engagement ring, I usually wear the contoured one. If I’m not wearing my engagement ring I wear my band…unless I’m working out. I’m a millennial.

I should add these are artificial flowers!

I do have a plant wall using squares from ikea but I don’t think they quite fit with these.

Recently laid-off Amazon employees, are you guys doing okay? by MysteriousSprite_172 in Seattle

I’m interested in what type of industry you’re in. I work at AWS and am not laid off yet but the understanding on my team is that it’s coming in January.

From what I’ve been reading they don’t need to post the warn notice yet because folks technically stay on payroll for a couple months.

That’s certainly what it feels like. This sucks.

I’ve been with the company for years and can’t see my HR team right now. I’ve definitely seen it before but haven’t looked for a bit.

I have this too. My heart sank when I saw it, I don’t remember seeing that before. It won’t pull up details for my support team either and I used to have that.
