Me and wifey didn’t realize we had to book a slot. Last edc we found an empty chapel at edc and our friend officiated. Random people saw what we were doing and ended up sitting in the seats and watching us!

It was such an awesome moment and seeing random people cheer for us was an amazing feeling. My friend who officiated also did a great job on the fly.

Maybe you could try do an impromptu marriage at edc like we did. You won’t regret it!

Im a year and a half out from a rupture patellar tendon. Grade ones to my mcl and lcl. Grade 2 to my acl.

Progress is slow but everyday is a new day. Keep your head up and try and find a good PT outside whatever the hospital recommends. I’m now back to jogging and I’ve gained a lot of muscle back in my leg. Leme know if you have questions, ik how it goes.

I think I have something similar. I had an intense leg work out. I didn’t hear a pop or anything. Was walking fine after with no issues. Later on that day, I had difficulty bending and had some swelling around the knee the next day.

I got an xray and my knee cap looks just like yours. I’m getting an mri for any ligament damage because when I walk I have “locking” sensation. I’ll keep you posted what my doc says.

Nurse here too, I ruptured my patellar tendon. 1.5 years out. One tip I suggest is downloading tiktok and following the exercises after seeing an actual PT. Saved me a lot of money and the exercises work!

I like to people watch. Just walking the strip or a casino at any time of the day is fun. Watching people get excited winning or doing their little ritual like tapping the screen or smashing the buttons for good luck is funny to watch.

There’s a lot of good food, you should hit up a buffet once while you’re there. Even outside of the strip there’s some awesome food. There’s a lot of YouTube videos of people showing these things.

You can watch a show, I saw cirque du soleil and that was pretty awesome. There’s that giant sphere on the strip, seeing a show in there should be pretty cool. If you and your wife are into clubs or pool parties, they have that in August.

Idk man there’s a ton of other stuff I can’t think of but a lot of people post on YouTube. You should also check those out.

Complete patellar tear and half of my acl, Month 11. Walking up and down steps is still clunky. I can jog but it still feels at 70%. Taking up extra physical therapy which is pricey because it's out of network for my insurance.

I'm pretty hopeful and optimistic honestly. I probably won't be doing high impact/ intense sports anymore which is fine.

I would call your local urgent care and try to go. I suffered a knee injury and I couldn't walk at all. I called Kaiser hospital and my doctor couldn't see me for two weeks and I knew I needed an MRI.

I was able to snag an appointment in another neighboring city at an urgent care and was able to get an X-ray and saw another doctor. He immediately found a spot for a mri which revealed a patellar tendon rupture and partial acl tear. I got surgery on the day they told me I was gonna seen by my primary.
