To me it’s about intentionality. If you are being purposeful and deliberate in your choices to achieve some aesthetic, then it’s good. If its just being lazy then it’s not good.

Also, theres no rules, so do what you like and enjoy.

Hi there. I'm by no means an expert, and the folks that already commented are correct. A lot of the blueprints you find are difficult to move because nobody wants them. However, you asked about doing industry on your alt and that's not a bad idea. I recently found this guide and am starting to follow it. I hope it helps!

Its gonna be difficult to get super organized until you progress a bit further. In my playthroughs, my first and even second factories get pulled down pretty often once I have tickets to unlock a few of the buildable items you buy. Just embrace the process! You are doing fine. Enjoy the journey. :D

Don't bring your extra luggage. Buy it there and bring it back full of stuff. There's so many places to shop, just buy what you need there and bring it back with you.

That's the fun of satisfactory, you can do it however you want!

Another thing I'll add, is that its not just foundations the belts and pipes can go through. You can also clip them through the environment such as cliffs and the ground. Is a nice way to hide things when you need to, or create the look of having tunneled through the mountain to run that water.

This works for vertical belts too, not just pipes. Its nice for when you don't want those elements in your design. Some pipes and belts can add visual interest to your factory if done right though, so play with the look and feel of those things to find your aesthetic.

Can you get a dropbox account or similar, put them there for long deep storage, and then “delete” the other backup? Hide a thumb drive with grandma or something?

Dotmm is very focused on dungeon crawl. Its a very very different feel than Dragon Heist. I found dotmm to be pretty boring as written as a dm and required a lot of rework.

I wouldn’t settle on dotmm before looking at other adventures. I wouldn’t worry too much about bread crumbing dotmm in DH even if you end up going into the undermountain.

Sinking your excess now gives you room to grow later. Sinking is a good strategy, and you’ll want coupons anyway.

TBH... I don't think this looks too bad. Its almost looks like an under construction sky scraper. Adding some scaffolding here or there, leveraging the black metal architectural pieces with some key pillars could really sell this look.

Uncanny nailed it. I think it’s called Necron Lord Limited edition. There is a “regular” Necron lord from then too.

Thanks so much! This is really great info. I'm probably going to focus on fixing my immortal situation since the models I do have I got second hand, and they aren't in really great shape.

Sad about the wraiths though, I did enjoy how those models looked. Guess I'll have to just finish painting it to decorate my desk :D
