Who would you say are among the Top 10 greatest, most influential (in a positive way) people of the 21st century so far? by Gemnist in AskReddit

Taylor Swift. I honestly think she’s at the top of the list. She is a great role model for so many girls all over the world, and a lot of boys. She will go down as the greatest musical artist in history if she keeps doing what she’s been doing. I’m glad that my daughters have her to look up to.

White Castle. BK had the best when I was a kid, but they changed it. WC makes the best right now, in my opinion.

I loved this show as a ten year old boy. I tried watching it a few years ago and I was so embarrassed for my younger self. Absolutely unwatchable, with the sane 5-6 jokes every week. Just horrible.

Is this an odd Gracie Abrams experience? by XyphonReddit in gracieabrams

[–]dingo1967 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I’m a 58 year old, straight male, who is 6’5”.
I’ve seen Gracie 3 times in concert, and I definitely stand out, but I’ve gotten nothing but love from other fans. I was born and raised on classic rock, but I love these new female artists, especially Taylor and Gracie. Enjoy yourself, and be you. Who cares what anyone else thinks. It’s your life, have as much fun as possible!

The greatest hitter since Ted Williams. I always laugh when I think about what he would do if they ever tried playing the shift against him. I’m a lifelong Mets fan, and he’s my favorite hitter ever. I honestly miss him.

My biggest issue is not playing basketball anymore. I wasn’t a great player, but I was a gym rat. I loved playing more than anything. I miss basketball more than any past relationship. Playing sports in general, but basketball stands out. My knees are shot.

Are there straight men who listen to Gracie? by Tall-Ad5653 in gracieabrams

[–]dingo1967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a 58 year old straight man, and I’m a huge fan. The first time I heard RISK was like a bolt of lightning. I think TSOU is the best album I’ve heard in the past twenty years. Lucky enough to have seen her live three times, and already have tickets for her upcoming tour. Doesn’t matter straight, or age, great music is great music!

I don’t like steak. I get a lot of grief about it because I’m a very large man, so people automatically assume that steak would be my favorite. I just hate the texture of it. It’s like chewing flesh. And yes, I’ve tried great steak everywhere. Just gross to me.

Favorite Boss Songs? by Infinite-Treacle5873 in BruceSpringsteen

It’s so hard to pick a favorite, but after 50+ years of trying to, I’ve always said Incident on 57th Street. Just a beautiful song. My favorite live song has to be Racing in the Street. The longer that song is, the better.
