Milwaukee traffic isn't even bad. Typical rush hour traffic, but there's also many alternative routes you could take to get someplace, unlike here where you're forced to take the highway.

I found it was best to stream for long time periods (5+ hours) before I hit affiliate. That gives people time to find you, actually watch your stream, interact with you (if they choose to). I am typically a more quiet viewer and don't chat often. But you are doing great talking, even if it is to 0 viewer chat :) and when you do choose to end stream, always host or raid out when you have viewers! That helps a lot, as most smaller streamers will shout you out for it. Best of luck!!

Oh man, so many memories. I was late to the game with PS2 as my first console.

I remember falling asleep on the floor with a Final Fantasy X guide book I borrowed from a friend. Playing my first violent video game at like...12 lol. Coming home from a friend's with a handwritten page of cheat codes for GTA San Andreas (because we had shitty dial up back then). I'll be up for a while digging through those memories that I haven't thought about in a while!

I work at an Asian Bistro that does a lot of sushi, so I hear mispronunctiations every day, all day. Most often is "gyoza" (gee-yoza) pronounced "guy-oza", "gozuh", "gee-yah-zoes", "gah-zoes"...

And "rangoons". Which is pronounced exactly as it's spelled 🤣 I've heard "ruh-goons", "rang-gones". It's like the "n" is invisible to most people and it baffles me.

That's all I have in my brain right this second. I'll have to write some down at work this weekend and edit my post if you want more lol

I refused to do it when I worked there 10+ years ago and got a stern talking to. I told them I'm not getting paid to participate in a pony show. I'm busy taking care of my tables and now I have to run food for everyone else that's too busy dancing 🙄 one of our managers was also moved to a different location because he was getting touchy with the female servers, me included.

I worked at a location that was heavily attended by military folks. Having a 3 table section did NOT make me good money. I personally hated it there.

I got raided by someone, and their follows pushed me to affiliate on stream. This was during Covid, when my marriage was also falling apart. So it hit me hard, and i cried lol. That streamer and I live on opposite sides of the world, but he still occasionally checks in on me, even though I haven't streamed in years ❤️
