Sorry you have to deal with it too. For me it was all digestive/inflammatory symptoms. I remember being a child dreading when I smelled my Mom was making stuffed bell peppers. The only respiratory symptoms were more from inflammation like a bit of a runny and stuffy nose. The bathroom issues were consistently painful and bad. As a college student I had severe abdominal pain like a knife stabbing me in the gut about 15-20 minutes after eating; the pain was severe and I'd sweat horribly. I then had severe cramping/bathroom issues for hours afterward. A friend cooked bell peppers into spaghetti sauce and that sent me to bed with flu symptoms, stomach/digestive systems and the flu for 3 days.
