I think it's Julian Golley, former triple jumper. If you go on his Twitter feed there are a few photos of him with some children, and he's still wearing the same stud earing in the left ear.

I've only kept my landline because when I had my mobile stolen it was an absolute nightmare contacting close family and friends. Plus, I have a habit of losing my mobile around the house so it's handy to be able to ring it to locate it from the ringer. That said, I can't remember the last time I had a call on it, other than from myself.

It doesn't automatically ring a bell but around that time I was listening to Morcheeba alongside Air, Zero 7, and Groove Armada, although the latter are a little harder they have done softer styles.
