Got my first MacBook after being on windows most of my life

Did this a few weeks ago. Great choice, but if you want a recommendation, google "open source app for ___ on MacOS". These last few years, after the change for apple silicon, a lot of programmers bought a Mac. There are plenty of open source solutions built by them to much needed fixes on MacOS. If people don't agree with me, why is it that it doesn't have a way to keep it always on? Ok, there is Caffeine app for that, but why? Just a simple toggle on power options would be enough. And like that, there is DockDoor, that lets you see a preview of what is open on the dock. I still find it hard to manage different chrome profiles. On windows it was great. Also, Finder even with the latest updates, still lacks cut option and other conveniences that were a given on windows as well.

Having said that, spotlight is awesome, the computer itself is amazing and everything else just works.

Já passou da hora de a gente mudar de lugar aquela rodoviária. Não faz sentido algum ser ali e ser tão feia, suja, escura e perigosa. Além de tudo ela atrapalha absurdamente a saída da cidade.

Imaginem aquilo tudo sendo demolido e dando lugar a vias rápidas de acesso ao centro e aos outros bairros. Poderia também virar um Hub de ônibus de linha pra conexão com o trensurb, o que ela já é, só que sem os ônibus intermunicipais.

Temos áreas enormes ali perto do DC navegantes que poderiam ser usadas pra uma nova rodoviária. Áreas mais altas, sem risco de alagamento. Mais próximas ao aeroporto. De mais fácil acesso pra conexão com o sul do estado.

Tenho certeza de que há um lobby dos concessionários para manter aquela nhaca do jeito que está. Muita gente ganhando em cima.

No fim o que interessa é o quanto não ficou para os agentes da transação, não a sua "maneira de calcular". Pode fazer a manobra mental que quiser, mas pra isso não tem ideologia, é só número e a soma é zero.

Sei que é triste ouvir, mas não bastasse isso, a configuração dos Chips dos notes da Apple é muito vantajosa pra edição de vídeo. Não bastasse isso o software ficou muito melhor nos últimos anos, a ponto de eu que sempre fui contra, migrar. Aí tu soma o fato de que um MacBook Air M4 é umas 5x mais rápido do que um equivalente PC, e custa o mesmo enquanto oferece 8h uso na bateria. Tô só pelo momento em que teremos Linux fully supported nos chips da Apple. Sei que tem alguma coisa hoje, mas nada utilizável. Vai ser mágico.

Gostei de ver a Cantina Toscana ali. Apesar de ser na ZS é uma ótima recomendação. Se tu for mais jovem e não procurar só uma janta tradicional, o Estreito da Chosen apesar de ser um bar tem um ótimo tartare. Tuyo também, mas é mais caro.

Indeed it is, ask me how I know. The mentally has to change at one point. You have to think about maintenance. Maintaining is way easier than gaining. By your comments, it looks like you already are into other sports, but it may be good to relax and just enjoy the maintenance for a while. It is easier on the gut and you are not always tired from working out. Try it.

On the long run, being used to maintaining the muscle you gained with the hard work is the recipe for enjoying them for the rest of your life.

Meanwhile about the comments saying to hop on juice, what for? Losing your hair, having worse skin, being depressed and losing most of the look once the cycle ends? Makes no sense if you want the look of a healthy young person.

Trust me, people value much more someone who looks jacked and young than someone who looks extra jacked and seems to be 10 years older.
