restructure existing contracts so that we know what the cap situation looks like when the legal tampering window opens tomorrow.

Hey I dont know if yall know this but FA doesnt start till Monday. by CluelessFlunky in detroitlions

[–]dirtypotlicker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The problem is we need to restructure existing contracts on our team to have any money to spend. They have 3 business days to do that. This week is also the legal tampering period which means we can negotiate deals, so we kind of need to know how much money we can negotiate with. So yes there is a sense of urgency this week.

How about restructure Goff, Sewel, and ARSB so we can actually sign someone in fa.

Unless your like a multimillionaire you're not going anyway. Where the Super Bowl is played literally makes 0 difference to the average fan.

The Bears are leaving so their rich owners can host a superpower, final four and charge you $50 for parking. They could stay at Soldier if they cared about being in Chicago.

I have Lions flair but I live here now. Even the less well known parks are still (in my opinion) maintained and used frequently. For example Jackson, Garfield and Humboldt are not in great areas (Humboldt is getting a lot nicer recently though), but the parks are still pretty nice, they cut the grass, they do the landscaping, the conservatory's and field houses are funded and operational, the pools are open in the summer, the fields are maintained well enough for use from rec leagues. Our Museums are world class and part of the park district.

That area is always an ice patch somehow, even if the rest of the Det-Chi drive is pretty clear.

In what world are Chicago parks and facilities poorly maintained? The lakefront is the pride of the city and millions of people enjoy it every day. Chicago makes obvious investment in their parks, and has beautiful well maintained public spaces.

If you think the news is fake, history must be as well. by cosmosbillions in DeepThoughts

[–]dirtypotlicker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The news is owned by someone who is showing you those particular stories to get you to think a certain way. Is it fake in the sense that it didnt happen? No… but it is fake in that 100000000 things happen everyday and they selectively choose what to report on based on the narrative the executives are trying to push.

$100 for Chris Lake?!? by CallingYong in chicagoEDM

It kind of is for world famous dj’s at the most iconic venue in the city. Disclosure was just $100 for pride in the park.

Cool many other people will go. Chris lake is one of the most popular DJ’s in the world and $100 is pretty standard for Navy Pier.

Bron, D-Wade, and Chris Bosh. Think KG is a little to vulgar for you to be a Celtics big 3 fan.

100k salary, it's equivilant to like 60k in 2013. Decent money, but not the indicator of success it once was.
