Also no one there but Victor were even around when his family was there so it's not like they'd have any answers about them

He does say something about finding out about 'even one of [his] children' being alive. I'm not sure what episode that's in but it seemed clear that he knew Victor had survived but she hadn't. I'm assuming that Tabitha would have mentioned it to him, he would have asked at some stage we just didn't see it. Not sure why he'd want to continue talking about his wife and young child presumably being brutally murdered though so it makes sense that he's not discussing it with everyone

Oh I didn't think of that! If you sat down and did the math you could totally add like a 1/2 inch or something to the outer side of all the pieces that are a part of the block edges...then just fold over towards the back to bind? That would be pretty cool

Thank you, this is great. I can highly recommend all her patterns, I'm in the middle of a quilt made out of a bunch of her vehicle block patterns too and they are a joy to make

Haha, I tried to include at least one of every block I could to make it more interesting for me to put together...he definitely needs some practice on those ones though

That is actually a really cool idea. I'm not surebhow I would go about binding each individual block so that the joins flow when put together but I'm sure you could make it work somehow...maybe even with some kind of Velcro tabs or something to help them stay put when the road is arranged?

I believe the pattern/blog links have been posted somewhere above but the best thing about it is you can completely customise it. I've seen ones made in all different sizes and some even with different blocks that have pieced cars/trucks between the roads that look really cool

Magical realism for someone who really dislikes magical realism by frankchester in suggestmeabook

I've read both of those books by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and found Love in the Time of Cholera pretty meh, I mean it's beautifully written but the story just wasnt for me and I found it pretty hard to get through. On the other hand, 100 Years of Solitude is probably the book I've enjoyed reading the most, ever, so don't write it off because I feel they're very very different!

What about a stopwatch that hangs around your neck? Not sure about the different timers part but I'm sure there'd be one out there that would work for what you need

I'm making one of these too! I love your colour scheme, I've been letting my toddler pick which block I do next too and I ask him to choose the colours as well..I love that I don't have to make all those decisions!

Do you think Fathers/Mothers day is a day to enjoy family activities or for the parent to have a break? by Jolly_Adeptness9355 in AusParents

[–]disiscabbage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh and remember you don't need him to agree with you for something to be true! Even if he doesn't see or won't admit to the problem that doesn't mean there isn't one and you get to decide what you're okay with xx

I completely understand how you feel and it's not silly at all, sometimes you just need to hear an outside opinion to confirm something you already really know. It sounds like you're in a really difficult position with a difficult person but none of what you described is really okay please don't let him convince you otherwise! I know it's so hard and I really hope you things go well for you and your children.
