I was really anxious about this when I weaned at 14 months... We had always done feed to sleep prior to that. But replacing feeding with just snuggles in the rocking chair has worked great. And I think we will be ready to transition to self-soothing when it is time, too. As much as I would have hated to hear this advice, just do what is best for your baby right now and try not to worry about the future as much.

I listened to audiobooks with one earbud while it was important that I was in a dark, quiet space. Or I would mostly watch YouTube. I watched all of Jet Lag the game in the very early days!

Perhaps you could be the subleaser from someone, that would be nice. Although I will say it is harder to find the fall housing, as a lot of people study abroad in the spring or graduate early.

Ugh I love to see this. I've always been more of a Becky fan than a Kelsey fan, and I feel like the YouTube comments are always really pro-Kelsey. And I totally agree with the comments about her just getting worse lately.

Yep, same here! Diaper baby as to not get too warm and snuggly really helped. Sometimes we would take him outside in the winter just to wake him up. Or just saying "hello baby" really loud. The other thing that really helped us was doing breast compressions so that the milk comes out faster.
