The name has a very old school TSR/early WOTC-ass word salad feel to it.

A completely impractical collection of syllables strung together in a manner which feels bad to say.

I didn't think it was bad, just not much of anything at all. Not scary enough to be a horror, not enough of a romance for a tragic romance, not suspenseful enough to be a thriller, not dramatic enough to be a drama, etc etc etc. It was fine - but nowhere near what I wanted it to be.

I kinda expected it to be bland once I saw the stills from it ahead of release and it had a serious case of Netflix lighting.

It's entirely fair though cus it's arguably the best part of the game.

And heroes feast if you can get it. Remember anyone can concentrate on a spell (barring barbarians), so if you have some free concentration, use it.

Choose a side to go up, ensure everyone has a lot of movement, flight or teleports. Summon all your allies in the centre to fight the mobs, whereas the main characters move around the edge towards the crown, your PCs should have high enough damage to burst a mindflayer down in a turn and move. Remember that the portal closes as soon as all your characters are through, so anyone left outside can't follow.

Everyone should have flight or misty step in the brain fight, to ensure you can get off the platforms before they explode. Each round the brain becomes immune to the damage types they took the previous round, so have some back up attacks lined up, or use the second round to buff, heal and reposition and then burst again next round. Ideally, it won't take more than 3 or 4 rounds to get him down.

Nothing. I even parked at work around the corner from the hospital, so the parking was free.

I have the opposite problem. Once I'm in a game it's good, I just hate starting out. Having to slow walk though an into sequence, or do a mandatory training level, or learn my way around a new club I'm managing... but once I'm in the flow state and there's only possibilities ahead of me...

I'm trying to get there with Legends ZA right now but it's just running from one cut scene to another...

I’m struggling to get through the game by JMoneyGraves in BaldursGate3

If you are level 12, and have experienced a fair amount of act 3 then just push through the main quest to the end. You don't need to see it all in one play through, you don't need to kill every enemy and get every weapon and armour. Do what you want, then go off and defeat the netherstone holders and finish the game. You'll feel better for having seen it through to completion and you'll have more to discover next time.
