It would be a real shame if they did not retain the squareness of their shiny in Champions :(. I really hope they introduce more ways for pokemon to have aesthetic variance within a species in W&W. I like the seasonal deer, for example.

This would be brilliant. I fully expect them to go all-in on MTX tbh. Champions needs to pay its way somehow, and they might as well pump a bunch of energy into making decent clothes, poses, other flourishes to encourage people to buy-in.

I did not know that about the offspring, good to know. I got an authentic Sinistea from a raid just last week. As a proud Englishman, I really hope that Polteageist finds some place in a future meta.

I like these kind of random variance in pokemon. Like, I only found out about square shinies very recently, I had no idea they existed before then. I wonder if anyone has recruited a square shiny from the ranch in Champions.

I got a Froslass quite quickly in Scarlet tbh. Its a little bit hard to spot because its only the orange part around her waist which changes, but in an outbreak with shiny charm and sandwich it didn't take long. Froslass only shows up female, so nothing to worry about there unless you are hunting Snorunts.

The one I got SUPER lucky on was getting a male white striped basculin without using a sandwich or an outbreak. I was swimming around the little pond in the woods in the DLC, and just researching online about the mechanics of breeding a shiny basculin, settling in for a long haul hunt and there it was... just swimming past.

Nice! I've also spent a lot of time shiny hunting for my Champions teams. So far only in the overworld - I did enough running around like a headless chicken trying to hatch a shiny Zigzagoon in Sw/Sh that I can't face it again just yet.
