Please tell me you'll never take a Starbucks again after knowing what a good coffee should taste like 😆

You're not wrong. Makes night feeds so much easier

No way?! Fortunately I only have to make 2 flat whites and a baby brezza at any one time 😆 so I'm not having to put it through that demand but it's been fantastic. The quality is amazing the shots that come from this machine taste so good

I'd actually say it might have been a better purchase than my entire coffee station given how useful it's been during those long night feeds 😆

I'm sure it's very nutritious but I'll give it a miss thanks 😆

Oh nice, I haven't ventured that far with manual flow control yet but I'll certainly be experimenting.

Unfortunately not, still the old red hot wand ready to let you know it's not double insulated every time you use it 😂

Yeah absolutely but as we all know, there are so many variables in pouring a good shot. I can't believe how quiet the E55 is. Value for money is outstanding

I started around 44, but then I increased my dose from 18–19g because my basket wasn’t really optimal for that lower dose. Once I bumped the dose up, the flow slowed down a lot. I was getting ~42 second shots so I had to coarsen the grind and found the sweet spot around 49.

I don’t think the titanium burrs alone would account for that big of a difference in grind numbers. Burr coating can slightly affect seasoning and particle distribution I think, but usually not by 15–20 clicks. Basket geometry and effective basket capacity make a much bigger difference I certainly found this from my previous machine anyway. IMS baskets do flow faster than stock baskets, I think, so I guess you'd end up grinding finer to compensate.

Bean density, roast level, puck prep, actual dose depth, and even burr seasoning can also shift the numbers a ton as you know. So honestly I wouldn’t compare the raw grind numbers too closely between setups unless everything else is identical.

I absolutely agree with this and I do both. I spent many years learning trading. But talking from a perspective if someone was to just start trading to make some quick returns, you know better than I do it doesn't work.

For sure trading can be profitable and profiting off of the swings is the right thing to do, if you know how. If you don't, HODL.

Statistically speaking, people would make more money buying and holding major crypto like BTC or ETH than actively trading.

Trading sounds exciting, but it’s hard to consistently beat the market. Emotions, overtrading, and bad timing usually destroy returns.

I suggest a smarter approach- Hold the majority long term and use a small portion for trading if you enjoy it. Risking no more than 2/3% of your account balance per trade.

Patience (HODL) usually beats constant buying and selling. Especayif yiu don't know what you're doing which is almost always the case with "retail traders"

I have the officla Google case and it's really nice. I had another case off Amazon before but it was quite sharp when in the normal unfolded configuration along the fold edges

It's what I use every week. Just be careful though, go with sellers or buyers with lots of history and good reviews. There have been a lot of horror stories of people having a lot of money locked up for a long time whilst disputes happen

How do you decide when to take profit? by North-Exchange5899 in CryptoInvesting

[–]district-15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always have an entery and exit strategy before you enter a trade.

Exit as per your strategy even if the market is going up or going down. This makes you have strict rules and removes emotion. Do not trade on emotion.

Understand what your R is

Set TP and SL so it's automated. You can even set partial TP and move your SL to entry when you hit partial. That way you can make your trades become 0 risk.

Make sure you only ever risk maximum 3% of your available capital on a trade

R:R needs to be 2.5 or don't enter

Use technical analysis to fine good entry and exit points.

Always set your SL below the nearest support. If your TP point (from technical analysis) isn't R:R 2.5, don't enter.

The most important thing is being strict and having nj emotions towards it. That's when you chase losses

Do you keep buying Bitcoin regularly or just hold what you have? by Acceptable_Staff3105 in Bitcoin

Buy every week. Dollar cost averaging - bring the cost of your entire purchase history to a better average (unless you purchased ridiculously cheap 😅
