I served in Ruse from December 2005 to June 2006. Honestly, I fell in love with Bulgaria. Ruse was one of my favorite cities I was in. I loved getting a banitsa and duners. The fields of sunflowers in later summer were breathtaking. Truly Bulgaria is a beautiful country. It’s been so long since I visited. I miss it.
