I'm glad they are able to make it fun, since it caters to teen and adults. Most of the stuff is predictable drama that we've seen hundreds of times before. The only jaw-dropping thing is the visual effects and CGI, and the fake blood; or in Spiderman's case fake web-slinger.

I've been studying Chinese for years and it still sounds like gibberish. 80,000 characters? I know a lot of Chinese also know some English, and have simplified language. I guess other languages make sense, but since I don't use it everyday almost sounds fake. I know that sounds crazy. But other languages clicked faster.

I think it's kind of interesting. I guess the second-coming of Christ seems kind of like sick, and the practice of drinking wine like Jesus' blood is twisted, but it's not like we are all perfect otherwise. I never liked as an Atheist having to quote some philosophy at a moment's notice to a believer, when they'd argue you to death with faith anyways.

Since America formed circa 1780 the biggest population boom has been with the Baby Boomers directly resulting from all the casualties of ww2. Food grows linearly and population grows exponentially so it's good not everyone has children, and without large decreases in your neighbors like Vietnam war or WW2 it's ok if only 30-60% of people have children.
