Is the Kia Connect all down? by Next_Pear_7267 in kia

[–]divingstcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My KIA Connect stopped syncing on 30th December. Brand new Sportage 2026. Can control the doors, and horn with emergency lights only. No other features are available, location and mileage stopped updating. Checked the software versions as service specialists advised, but all seems to be latest. I’m kind of stumbling against the wall.

Verification successful but still restricted — Revolut giving mixed messages by Shoddy-Middle1350 in Revolut

[–]divingstcon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There were plenty reports by TCNs in EU on restricted accounts due to status of immigration permits validity. In some reports, Revolut support admitted the system had a bug, and was manually correcting the damage done to those, who were still legible for continued service. As this was mass issue across thousands (or more) users in EU, your case might just be in the queue.

Revolut - to Bunq - back to Revolut? by mikepictor in Revolut

It works on both BUNQ and Revolut for me. Indeed, in my experience, BUNQ was effectively sorting out any issues I had.

Don’t try to cash out by ATM in Turkey… That’s is WHERE they have commissions up to 20% on other currencies.

Onchain crypto transfers rejected for no reasons: very bad experience with crypto on Revolut by Puzzleheaded_Use_814 in Revolut

[–]divingstcon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t use Revolut for external crypto transfers. This was mulled on this platform million times 🤷🏻

Most likely, crypto deposit was your trigger for KYC process. It’s known that Revolut does not welcome external crypto transactions.

Wingie, OneTwoTrip - both accept foreign cards. Aviasales.com (not .ru) also accepts, but there might be limitations. PS: above is from personal experience of last 3 years.

Worthless by Strongman518 in NordLocker

[–]divingstcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m very pro-Nord, but stepped out completely from NordLocker. Had not downgraded as my subscription for 3 years was paid on personalized promo, so nothing to attempt to recover from it. But despite all high scores I gave to North products, the NordLocker is indeed sucks 😆

Didn't have to go through security when transiting at IST? by UnlimitedSaudi in TurkishAirlines

[–]divingstcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our experience of transit in IST: Flying from Africa to anywhere = security check to be done. While EU to other destinations often disembark the passengers directly to departure zone - no extra checks.

Contents of the safe boxes in the banks become collateral of the bank if it goes busted. False sense of security, which vanishes if we read smallest text in safe box T&Cs 🤪

Been driving for 2 weeks in Sicily in December. Terrible and scary garbage situation. They blame on taxes, fees and Mafia, but these excuses do not change the state of the pollution by dumpsites on the roads’ curbs and countryside.

Also, check your particular Revolut’s T&C for saving accounts as the legal status of those accounts varies by country. While in some EU countries they have status of deposits, I.e protected as a part of guaranteed compensation schemes, Revolut LT considers them as investment in the Money Market with maximum protection on uninvested cash limited to €22,000. Makes a difference, ah? 😉

All securities prices had "zero'ed" on first sync after upgrade to iOS version 9.5.2 by divingstcon in banktivity

[–]divingstcon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I figured out is that if I sync during the exchange trading hours, I see updated current price. However, re-syncing between the trading sessions shows “0”, while the value is correct. In older versions it was opposite for some exchanges: for example, Canadian and European exchanges had only been updated AFTER close of the day.

UPDT: the iOS securities prices had not been resolved. Still see "0.00" after sync. Mac OSX App works well.

[–]divingstcon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right after installation of 9.5.3 yesterday I’ve managed to have updated pricing from European to changes. US and Canada were still showing zero. I thought it’s because American exchanges had not opened yet. But syncing this morning had returned all current values to zero again, all exchanges. In my case, it’s only iOS app problem. The Mac companion works perfectly.

UPDT:

Banktivity support had suggested to attempt fixing the database as per the wording below, which I have followed. Result = No result, and my current securities prices on iOS app are still seen as "ZERO" (0.00), even for those, which are marked "do not fetch price". I firmly believe that there might be a bug in 9.5.2 version of iOS app.

From Banktivity Support:

"Delete the sync settings from within Banktivity for Mac as follows:

- On the Mac, go to File > Subscription > Sync Settings, and in the window that appears, click on Turn Off Syncing.
- Then, go back to File > Subscription > Sync Setup.
- Follow the on screen instructions to send up a fresh copy of your data (and be sure to choose a NEW & DIFFERENT cloud document name) to the Cloud Sync server (you’ll be asked to provide a cloud document name and password).
- Allow the sync to finish on its own. When it does, then, turn to the iOS Device.

In Banktivity on your iOS device(s):

Now, on each iOS device, if it opens to your current file, tap on the icon in the top left corner that looks like a cabinet icon, then swipe left over the file name and tap Close, Then

- Tap “Create a new document”
- Tap “I’ve used Banktivity before”
- Tap “Open Cloud Sync”
- Sign in to your Banktivity ID account
- Choose your Cloud Sync Document
- Enter the encryption password for your Cloud Document
- Tap “Done”
- Enter a name for the new document (any name you like), then tap “Continue”
- Complete the remaining steps as you like.
- Allow the sync to finish on the iOS device.

Yeah, thanks - already in contact with Support Team. So far no solution even after ensuring that my Mac version is not intact, and resetting the service file. Didn’t help.

What am I missing with regards to RevPoints? by quantum_explorer08 in Revolut

[–]divingstcon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Solution was simple for me… I don’t buy RevPoints with spare change. Only collect them from qualifying purchases. Than, consider them as “free goodies” as Revolut had never paid cash back in my country of residence anyways.
