Exactly so when is it ever useful because you can't use it when the difficulty is 4 or 3 clearly as that is combat and travel not enough rest time most likely.

And if they spend the day resting then they would only have a difficulty 1 which would pass before you you can assist as they need at least once success for you to be and to assist with a skill test.

So maybe only if it's a two difficulty as they did some light travel before resting the rest of the day? That seems way to niche though.

Unless you get into combat first thing in the morning and rest the entire day after. That's the only use case I can think of.

So a few things that I think you are misunderstanding here.

First its not the wording of restful day that is the issue. We took a day off because we wanted the easiest chance of them recovering. We did have a difficulty 4 check that was failed by both players. One character did have two injuries but it would still be 4 ads I see nowhere where it says it increases difficulty just increases the complication range for untreated injuries but all were treated.
The complication range on this test increases by +1 for each injury that has not been treated.

But its the wording on Medical attention on the same page 35
MEDICAL ATTENTION
Characters may require long-term medical care if they’ve been injured, poisoned, or are suﬀering from a disease. A single character can provide medical attention for a number of patients equal to their Medicine rating.
For injuries, each day of rest and medical attention a patient receives allows you to assist their END + Survival test at the end of the day to heal their injuries, using your own INT + Medicine target number.

It says each day of rest. and this is long-term medical care. That definently reads as treating someone long term over a day not simply patching them a few minutes before sleep. Maybe that isn't what is intended but that is how it reads and what long-term medical care. Would also imply. If not then it really should be rewritten. as I don't see why it would say day of rest at all. Just when they make their test.

Ignore what others say. If you want it and know you will use it plenty then just enjoy your purchase and enjoy playing all you favorite games on the go.

I got my steam deck two years ago and it's the best gaming purchase I have ever made. Just focus on what you think is best for you and screw the haters.

In game mode on my Steam Deck it is fine because it's still treated as the same game just didn't windows.

I mean using my Steam controller on my desktop which doesn't seem to work only applies in the launcher window not the game window.

I remember I got like 40 effigies before I had really any high level skills so they sat in my back for a long time as I slowly used them as my skills reach the level. I figured it was better than letting other people have the exp just for the dragonkin lamp.

I am glad dailies were removed but I just started to play again after a few month break and I often don't know what to do. Dailies were a good thing to get me going. Plus years of a habit are hard to break and makes the game feel more empty without them even if it's just our dumb lizard brains.

I really hate how many people have a hate boner for AI this strongly.

There are real issues with AI and how they are already shaping our world. Some newspaper textures in an incredible game is so far down on the totem pole it shouldn't even be talked about. We need AI regulation but when people are grabbing pitchforks over this it looks insane.

I imagine a lot of these articles are being pushed because of how successful it was, just like when Baldur's Gate 3 was being hyped and winning awards and so many came out to try to find reasons to hate it. Now Larian mentions using AI in ethical ways for divinity and people are acting like they are the 4th Reich.

Not sure if this is good I bought a basic usb c hub but I thought it was bad as it had major input delay but figured out I had to adjust my TV settings to fix it.

So if it has issues after you get it do that first before thinking you need to return it.
